Each form created using Gravity Forms has a unique shortcode which makes it easy for me to embed the form anywhere on my site. If I want to edit the form later on I can do so from the WordPress plugin itself. Now, if I want to share the same form with other people (yay for cplaboration. I can simply copy and paste the unique shortcode and send them the link. Alternatively, I can email the unique link and/or publish it on Facebook or Twitter. This way my readers can fill out the form and submit their answers without having to leave my website.
Automation . When I want to make changes to my form but don’t want to go through the hassle of uploading the file again to my web host or installing another plugin I can make those changes directly from Google Forms and it will automatically update my WordPress plugin automatically! No manual effort invpved! The same goes for retrieving results. I just need to click on “Receive results” and it will be updated in my WordPress plugin automatically! No copying and pasting! For example, if there is some information I want people to fill out before they enter my website (i.e. subscribe to my newsletter. Previously I would ask them for their name and email address but now they only need to fill out one form instead of two! And because they are already on my page they are more likely to complete it. :D
