Appy Pie’s Connect brings together Triggers (like "New Deal") and Actions (like "Create Contact") to complete an action in one app whenever a trigger occurs in another. This phenomenon is called “Connect” and these Connects help you automate repetitive tasks saving you the trouble of doing them manually.
To integrate the Hubspot app at Appy Pie Connect, search and select the app from the app directory available at Connect. Choose the service required and click Continue to move ahead with the integration.
Click Connect an Account option at Connect and a pop-up will ask to enter the credentials for the relevant account of Hubspot to integrate (select the account if already logged in).
Connect will show the access required to make the integration work with Hubspot. After checking all the permits required, click the “Grant Access” button.
You will be asked to reconfirm the account connected, click Continue to complete the integration with Hubspot.
Multiple Account Error
If the same account is added twice at Appy Pie Connect then this conflict may occur. To resolve this just reconnect to the original account added.
This is rare but a sure possibility at Appy Pie Connect due to excess of data returning to the system. To resolve this you can remove a few (unused or not required) fields from Pull Custom Fields functionality.
My New Form Entry doesn’t have all Fields in Trigger
This is a known issue of Hubspot as all the fields of New Form is not supported by APIs.
My Connect is showing “Unable to Add Unknown Contact to List” error
The contact should be already available in Hubspot to be added to a list. To ensure this add Hubspot Create/Update Contact action to Add Contact to List action, it will help to ensure that contact is available and could be added to the list.
I made some changes in property on a contact & it doesn’t trigger my Connect
Appy Pie Connect any change in the property of a contact and that can be triggered but it might not work in the case of changes on company records. We are working on this feature for now.
Dropdown is not showing Smart List
The Smart List is available only for static contact in Hubspot, you can try this for the List action after selecting the static contact list in Hubspot.
Access_Token does not have proper permissions!
This error occurs if the Hubspot account linked with Appy Pie Connect does not have proper permissions. Check out the required permissions in the link given here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/settings/hubspot-user-permissions-guide
New Contact in List is Triggering for the contacts unavailable in the list
Our triggers of the New Contact list may depend upon the HubSpot properties of new contacts. If only selected values are excluded then it may look for the conditions till the properties are set. You can insert “The contact property X is known” condition to avoid this error.
How to resolve "api.hubapi.com returned (403) Forbidden and said "This access_token (###) does not have proper permissions! (requires all of [content-access])” error?
This error can occur while accessing the Hubspot calendar of the account which is not connected in Appy Pie Connect. “New Calendar Task” triggers do not work with normal Hubspot tasks.
