Integration of Trello and Zoho Desk

Trello

Trello is a project management software that is simple and easy to use. It was developed by Fog Creek Software and launched on May 10, 2011. It is a web-based top with a minimalist feel. It is used to organize projects and manage workflow. Trello’s boards, lists, and cards are used for tracking tasks. The boards can be public or private. Users can share their public boards with other people. Users can also invite other users to work on the board together. Each board contains multiple lists of cards. A card is a task or an item on the list. Cards are cpor-coded to indicate their status. The cards can be moved from one list to another when they are completed.

Zoho Desk

Zoho Desk is an online customer support software provided by Zoho Corporation. Currently, it offers three different plans. Basic, Premium, and Enterprise. It enables its users to provide quality customer support to their customers via email, chat, phone calls etc. Zoho Desk also has a mobile app available for Android and iOS devices.

Integration of Trello and Zoho Desk

Integrating Trello and Zoho Desk enables users of both softwares to have access to the features of each other. For example, users of Trello can receive chat messages from the Zoho Desk App about their tickets in Zoho Desk. In addition, users of Zoho Desk can view all their tickets in Trello via Zoho Desk’s mobile app. Users can then update the status of the ticket in Trello.

Benefits of Integration of Trello and Zoho Desk

  • Time Saving. Integration of Trello and Zoho Desk saves time of the user as he/she doesn’t need to open two different applications at the same time to check the status of one ticket. This integration helps users stay organized as they don’t need to switch between multiple tabs in the browser while looking at their tasks. Also, the integration of these two softwares makes it easier for the users to open their project dashboard and see the progress of their projects.
  • Easy Communication. Integration of these two softwares allows users to communicate with one another in an easy way. For example, if someone creates a ticket for you in Zoho Desk, then you will get an email notification about it as well as a message via Zoho Desk’s mobile app about that ticket. You can then reply back to them without having to log into any other software. Also, if your customer service team uses Trello, then your team members can view all their tickets in Trello via Zoho Desk’s mobile app and easily reply back to their customers and add more details about their tickets.
