Salesforce Integration Details

Salesforce, a leading CRM platform, brings all of your customer communication in one place. This enterprise-level application creates personalized customer journeys and multi-channel marketing campaigns that work to capture and target potential leads into repeat clients. Although Salesforce is one of the best customer relationship management tools, it needs to integrate with other applications used within an organization. Salesforce can be integrated with other third-party tools to cater to different purposes, including data, business logic, business analytics, and many more depending on individual requirements. Salesforce is more powerful when you ingrate it with other apps you use in your organization through automation platform. Appy Pie connect allows you to integrate Salesforce with hundreds of other apps without any coding. This Salesforce integration helps you enhance the functionality of your Salesforce account by letting you integrate it with industry-leading software and custom apps you use in your business.

Appy Pie Connect can automate a variety of workflows involved in Salesforce, such as creating leads, contacts, opportunities from emails, online forms, social media ads, and many more. You can use Appy Pie Connect to automatically create leads in Salesforce whenever someone signs up for your email marketing newsletter. Or you can also move any information between Salesforce and other apps. Or you can move information between the CRM, your online payment processing app, and your accounting app whenever someone makes a purchase. You can even automatically send thank you cards to customers after a deal closes. Connecting Salesforce with our automation platform will help you understand your customer needs, solve their problems, and identify opportunities to extend help by managing their information and interactions with your company on a single platform.

Here is how you can use Salesforce with Appy Pie Connect:

Common Issues With Salesforce At Appy Pie Connect

Salesforce limitation for Connected Apps

With Salesforce only 5 third part application accounts can be connected at a time. If you connect with a new application the older account permits will be revoked. This simply means that a salesforce account can work with only 5 apps at a time but this doesn’t limit the number of connections using the integrated account at Appy Pie Connect.

  • Click “refresh Fields” option available at the end of Connect step
  • Make a duplicate connect and try to change fields in copied version to check if the field appears

Why does my Connect keep assigning a record or object to the same owner?

This may be due to Salesforce account setting, check workflow assignment setup rules which may be affecting.

Error: This Connect of Sales seems to be unavailable/ not working

It may happen if your Salesforce account has accessed the limit of 5 connections to third party apps. You can try to:

  • Review your Salesforce connected apps and check if the Connect token is expired.
  • Reconnect your salesforce account with Connect.

Recheck the field that you are trying to update, they may be encrypted. To decrypt check Salesforce admin fields.

This happens in case if Salesforce admin has made the restriction for updates or insertions in particular fields in which the error message is shown. Contact Salesforce admin to have the permission for the particular action event.

Recheck if any of the mentioned fields has a custom validation rule. Make sure that the records being created through Connect follows the same rules.
