Amazon CloudWatch is a monitoring service that provides comprehensive monitoring and long-term storage of key metrics to help you understand and optimize the performance of your Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances and running applications. This tool is mostly used with AWS, however, you can connect other apps that you use in your business. With Amazon CloudWatch integration, you can put CloudWatch metrics generated from all your Amazon EC2 instances and AWS resources to use by setting up alarms to monitor various conditions and automatically send notifications if an alarm is triggered. Amazon CloudWatch integration enables you to get the notification in your communication platform whenever anything happens to your Amazon server.
Appy Pie Connect brings together Triggers (like "New Alarm Status") and Actions (like "Send Message") to complete an action in one app whenever a trigger occurs in another. This phenomenon is called “Connect” and these Connects help you automate repetitive tasks saving you the trouble of doing them manually.
You can create an IAM user with limited access for Appy Pie Connect to make the integration possible.

Further, to integrate Amazon CloudWatch account in Appy Pie Connect follow the steps given here
To integrate Amazon CloudWatch at Appy Pie Connect, search and select the app from the app directory available at Connect. Now, select the service required and click the Continue button to move ahead with the integration.
Note: Amazon CloudWatch can only be used as an Action event app right now at Connect.
Click the Connect an Account button and a pop-up form will ask for Amazon CloudWatch access. You need to enter the AWS Access Key ID and AWS Access Secret Key in the pop-up form at Connect and click the Yes, Continue button to move ahead with the integration
Connect will ask to reconfirm the Amazon CloudWatch account connected. Click the Continue button to confirm the account.
Select the service details of Amazon CloudWatch from the dropdown menu available, and click the Continue button to complete the integration at Appy Pie Connect.
