Here we are going to save this form in /var/www/html/ directory of our server using sudo command because we are going to host this form in our server. So enter the fplowing commands :Now let’s configure our host file so that our server will know how to access our newly created web page :Now type http://localhost/MyJotForm in your web browser address bar and press enter key. Then you should see a login page like this :Enter your name in the above text box and click on “Sign Up” button. Now you should see a page like this :Click on “Save Changes” button on the right bottom of screen after filling out all required fields. Then you should see a page like this :Now let’s install Odoo ERP Self Hosted :Step 3. Add one-page Odoo ERP Self Hosted landing page for new usersGo to your Odoo instance http://localhost/openerp/ with your web browser and log in as administrator. You should see a home page like this :Click on “Administer” link in order to go back to admin area of your Odoo instance. Adding link in one-page landing page navigation To add an entry in one-page landing page navigation fplow these steps :First click on “Add page” button as shown below :Then enter values in each field like this (your landing page title should be something like “What is Odoo?”, your landing page URL should be something like http://localhost/openerp/your_landing_page . :Finally, click on “Save changes” button as shown below :Now go back again to top menu of your home page by clicking on top menu link or by clicking on home icon in header menu as shown below :You will see a new entry in one-page landing page navigation menu as shown below . (ii. Adding separate landing page Instead of adding an entry in one-page landing page navigation, you can also add a separate landing page with its own navigation menu for new users by fplowing these steps . First click on “Add page” button as shown below . In new window, enter values in each field like this (your landing page title should be something like “What is Odoo?”, your landing page URL should be something like http://localhost/openerp/your_landing_page . . Now click on “Save changes” button as shown below . Now go back again to top menu of your home page by clicking on top menu link or by clicking on home icon in header menu as shown below . Finally, go to new landing page by clicking on new entry in left nav bar as shown below . Now you will see a new navigation bar for your new landing page as shown below . Step 4. Add SSL certificate for Odoo ERP Self Hosted Now let’s add SSL certificate for our setup . To add SSL certificate fplow these steps . Go to your Ubuntu server using ssh connection (if you don’t know how to connect via ssh then fplow this tutorial https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-log-into-an-ubuntu-server-using-putty . After logging into your Ubuntu server using ssh, type cd /etc/ssl/certs/ directory using command line interface (CLI. as below . Now download certificate files from Letsencrypt repository using wget command as below. After downloading certificate files from Letsencrypt repository, extract downloaded files using tar command as below. After extracting downloaded files from Letsencrypt repository, create a symlink for certbot_auto command using ln command as below. Now run certbot command with ssl parameter as fplows. Finally, restart apache2 service by running service apache2 restart command as below. Step 5. Create custom template for forms Now let’s create custom template for forms . Go back to home page of your Odoo instance http://localhost/openerp/ using web browser and log in as administrator. Then go to “Templates management” section under “Design elements” section in left sidebar as shown below . Click on “Create new template” button as shown below .
