JotForm is a web application that enables users to create, design, and distribute forms. It is particularly useful for cplecting data from individuals and businesses.
JotForm can be integrated with Basecamp 3, a project management software application. This integration allows users to link their Basecamp projects with JotForm forms so that they can cplect data through those forms.
This article will discuss the fplowing topics:
Integration of JotForm and Basecamp 3
Benefits of Integration of JotForm and Basecamp 3
JotForm and Basecamp 3 can be integrated to allow users to link their Basecamp projects with JotForm forms so that they can cplect data through those forms. They can also create new or edit existing forms from within the Basecamp interface.
To integrate JotForm and Basecamp 3, users must first go to their Profile page on JotForm. For those who are not logged in, they must click on the “Log In” button at the top right corner of the page. Once they are logged in, they will see a button labeled “Integrations” next to their name at the top left corner of the page. Upon clicking this button, they will be directed to the Integrations page. This page will list all of the integrations available on JotForm. They may select the checkbox next to any integration that they wish to enable and click the “Save” button at the bottom right of the page. This will return them to their Profile page where they can click on the Basecamp 3 logo next to their name to link their account.
Once a user has enabled the integration with Basecamp 3, they can access Form Builder from their Profile page under the “Your Forms” tab. On the Form Builder page, they may click on any of their forms to access the form builder interface. Once there, they may edit their form by adding or removing fields and making changes to other aspects of their form as needed. They may also add files, documents, or links to their form as well as upload files or images directly from their device. They may also edit details such as the subject line and description for their form if desired. When they have finished editing their form, they may click on the orange “Done Editing” button at the top right corner of the screen and then click on “Save Changes” to publish their changes. These changes will automatically push to any linked Basecamp projects that include that form.
The integration between JotForm and Basecamp 3 enables users to create forms that can be used in multiple locations simultaneously. By linking a form with a Basecamp project, users can edit their form from within that project. This means that edits made in one location are updated immediately in both locations.
For example, say that a business wants to cplect information about its customers using a Google Form. The business owner creates a form on JotForm and decides to link it with his or her Basecamp project for Customer Satisfaction Surveys. By doing so, he or she can add additional questions to his or her survey using Form Builder inside of Basecamp. When a customer completes this survey, he or she will receive an email invitation containing a link to the form and instructions explaining how to complete it. Each time a customer completes this survey, he or she will be able to see their answers side-by-side with responses from other customers who have also completed the survey, giving him or her the ability to compare his or her own answers with those of others. He or she can also see how many people have responded so far as well as view any comments left by respondents in order to help him or her improve his or her survey and make it more useful for future responses.
