C1. With Bitly integrated into your Google Sheets, you can set up automatic notifications whenever someone clicks on or converts one of your links in your spreadsheet. Whenever someone clicks on or converts one of your links in Google Sheets, Bitly sends an e-mail notification to all the people invpved in the spreadsheet project. Of course, if you have no reason to notify anyone about your link activity in Google Sheets, or if you want to notify only certain people about it, then simply disable the option in the settings area. However, many people may find it useful to have their e-mail address listed in their spreadsheet so that they can see when their links have been clicked on or converted into actions. Once the notification e-mail arrives, you can view everything about the link from where it was clicked on or converted to who clicked on it and if anything was converted off of it like an email address or phone number. You can even view info about how much money was made off of this link if it was converted into an action like an online purchase or sale of a product or service for example.
