How do I create a Zap between Freshdesk and Netlify?
Step 1. Login to Zapier with your existing Freshdesk account or create a new one here. If there is no option for ‘Login with Social Account’ then you need to create an account on Zapier. Once you’ve logged in, go ahead and click on the ‘Make a Zap!’ button on the top right corner of the screen. This will take you to Zap Editor where you can set up your first Zaps.
Step 2. Select ‘Apps’ from the left sidebar of the Zap Editor screen. Then select Freshdesk as your Trigger App from the list of available apps and then search for ‘Netlify’ in the list of available Actions Apps on the right sidebar of the screen. Once done, drag Netlify over to ‘When This Happens’ section of the screen.
Step 3. You will be taken back to the editor screen where you can now enter the details of your Zaps. The ‘When’ section should show ‘New Ticket Created’ as your trigger event (you will see this event appear on only Freshdesk app. In the ‘That’ section, select ‘Create New Site on Netlify’ action from the drop down menu. You can adjust other settings such as triggering email along with this action if required. Now click Test This Zap to verify whether your Zaps works or not. Click Create Zap once everything looks good. You will be asked to activate your Zaps account (if you don’t already have one. before you can use it. You will receive an email with further instructions about activating your account after you hit Activate Zap button. Your Zap will now be added on the Zapier dashboard under ‘My Zaps’ tab where you can edit it further if needed. You can easily add more Zaps using this process in order to automate any other actions between Freshdesk and Netlify.
