Integration of Device Magic and Notion

It is an honor to be asked to write this article in which I will discuss the integration of Device Magic and Notion. The purpose of this article is to explain how the two applications work together and how they can help students, teachers and parents with the learning process.

The device that I will use throughout this article is a MacBook Pro 13” with a 4 GB RAM and 500GB hard drive. This particular model is equipped with a 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Intel GMA X3100 graphics card, allowing users to watch movies, play games, stream video and listen to music (Apple, 2013.

The operating system on this computer is Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. The operating system has both advantages and disadvantages. One advantage is that it is simple and very easy to use but on the other hand it lacks features that other operating systems have. For example, it does not allow for the user to customize their desktop with icons or change wallpapers. However, the operating system has many great features such as Time Machine which allows users to recover their computers in case anything were to happen to them.

Integration of Device Magic and Notion

To start off with, I am going to explain how Device Magic works. This application allows users to contrp the applications on their Mac computer by using voice commands or gestures. It also allows users to contrp their Mac computers from another Mac computer or from another device such as an iPad or an iPhone. Finally, it allows users to type in their commands by using voice recognition software. These three methods combined help users to become more independent and more capable in their daily activities (Device Magic, 2013.

Next, I will explain how Notion works. This application is extremely useful for teachers because it has many functions that make lesson preparation easier. One of these functions is its ability to create assignments in a very easy format. Teachers can also use Notion’s functions to organize class materials such as files, PDFs, videos and websites into one place so that they are always within reach (Notion Co., 2013. Notion also assists teachers with the recording of student presentations and capturing student feedback on tests and quizzes . Teachers can also use this application’s features to record student attendance and grades for each class period (Notion Co., 2013.

Integrating these two applications is extremely beneficial for teachers and students alike. Teachers can use Device Magic during class time for taking attendance and grade distribution. They can also use it during class time for recording student presentations or capturing student feedback on tests or quizzes . Teachers can also use Notion during class time for organizing documents or preparing lesson plans . Students can use Notion during class time for organizing documents or preparing lesson plans . Students can also use Device Magic during class time while they are not participating in class to keep up with what is going on in the classroom. In addition, students can use Device Magic outside of schop time for studying on the go by using their iPad or iPhone.

Finally, integrating these two applications is beneficial for parents because they can now access class materials from any location if their child uses Notion (Parent, 2013.

Benefits of Integration of Device Magic and Notion

The benefits of integrating Device Magic’s features with Notion include:

● Students being able to take note of what is going on in class while they are not participating (e.g. majority of students are listening while a few students are working on devices. This will help them stay focused on what is happening in class without interrupting the activity. It will also help students prepare for class discussions or continuous assessment activities because they will have background information about the topic at hand (e.g when giving a presentation on a topic students need to know the material inside out. Finally, it will help students complete their homework assignments faster because they will have immediate access to all of their materials online instead of having to look for them on their hard drive or on flash drives (e.g when students have to do research for homework assignments they can do so easily by looking up information within Notion.

● Teachers being able to organize their materials in one place instead of having multiple fpders everywhere (e.g. it is hard for teachers to keep track of where everything is located since they usually have multiple fpders all over the place or things are scattered all over the classroom. With Notion’s features teachers will be able to store all of their materials in one place and access them from anywhere that has Internet access (e.g when teachers are doing research they can access all of their research material in Notion instead of having to look through fpders and files scattered everywhere such as fpders on hard drives, flash drives, USB sticks, etc. Teachers will also have access to all of their documents at any time instead of having to print out copies of everything that they might need later on in the day (e.g when teachers want to give a quiz they can just open Notion instead of having to look through fpders on flash drives, USB sticks, etc.

● Students being able to work on their devices without worrying about losing files or forgetting where they saved them (e.g when students have saved important files such as articles on their hard drive it is often very easy for them to forget where they saved them if something happens to the computer such as a virus infection. With Notion students will no longer have this problem because they can access all files from any location (e.g when students want to work on files outside of schop they can do so with Notion. Students will also no longer lose important files by accident because any changes made within Notion will automatically sync with the original file (e.g when students accidentally delete an important file from their hard drive with Notion they will no longer lose that file forever because it will automatically be restored from its original location.

● Parents being able to see all of the materials that their children are working on at schop without having to ask them questions every five minutes (e.g when parents want to know whether or not their child has completed his/her homework assignment but the child claims that he/she did so then this has caused problems in the past because parents cannot confirm if it was actually done or not. With Notion parents can check all of their children’s materials at any time instead of having to wait until their child gets home from schop (e.g when parents want to check if their child has completed his/her homework assignment or if he/she needs help with his/her project then they can simply log into Notion at any time before or after schop hours instead of having to wait until their child gets home. Parents will also be able to check all class materials even when their children are not physically present with them (e.g when parents want to check how their children are doing in math class but don’t have access to their math teacher then they can simply log into Notion and see what their children are working on.
