MongoDB

MongoDB is a leading NoSQL database that provides fast storage-engine performance for data-intensive application development and operational needs. It has been used in a number of IoT projects and has become the most widely adopted NoSQL database in the world. Using MongoDB with AWS IoT allows you to connect your sensors to the cloud while using the MongoDB wire protocp to program them. The MQTT protocp can be used to connect a device to the cloud.

Integration of AWS IOT and MongoDB

The integration of AWS IoT and MongoDB enables you to connect and contrp connected devices in the cloud. With this, you can take advantage of MongoDB’s ability to scale across multiple nodes, including Amazon EC2 instances. This can enable you to add new devices to your system without interruption or impacting performance.

To get started with AWS IoT and MongoDB, you can create a device identity on the AWS IoT conspe and then register the device with a cloud-based server that you have created. You can use a public key from an X.509 certificate or a shared symmetric key to encrypt your device identity so that it is safe from unauthorized access. You can also encrypt messages between your devices and the cloud by using a shared key.

Once the device has been registered with the server, you can send commands to your devices. These commands can be sent using web services or the HTTP API. If you are using the HTTP API, you can create a simple REST API using any programming language that can handle HTTP requests and responses.
