Amazon Web Services (AWS. is a subsidiary of Amazon that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms to individuals, companies and governments, on a paid subscription basis. One of the most popular AWS services is Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3. The service enables users to store any amount of data and access it from anywhere on the web. Through the use of APIs, users can store objects ranging in size from 1 byte to 5 terabytes to Amazon S3.
GetResponse is a marketing automation software that allows users to create email campaigns and manage subscribers. Users can create e-mail templates using HTML code and send them to multiple subscribers. The software also allows users to cplect feedbacks and track the performance of their email campaigns.
As per the first step of integration, AWS IoT is integrated with GetResponse by sending an HTTP request to the GetResponse API. Then the response would be received from the api in JSON format. Then this JSON response is transformed into XML format using Xpath query and then sent to Amazon Kinesis Firehose to be processed.
The second step is to process the message received from Amazon Kinesis Firehose in Lambda function. This function will receive the message in XML format and transform it into JSON format. Then based on the user input parameter that is passed in the function, a random number will be generated and stored in DynamoDB table. This random number is used to determine whether the message should be deleted or not. The result of this processing is an email template which can be sent to any number of subscribers using GetResponse API.
An integration of AWS IoT and GetResponse will allow users to create customized email templates based on their subscribers' interests. For example, if a user has placed a product on Amazon S3, this system will read the information from Amazon S3 and sends customized emails to other users who have subscribed for that product on GetResponse.
