    Integration of awork and Expensify

    Expensify is a web-based service which allows its users to track their expensess incurred during travel or business trips. The main intention of the users of this service is to reduce the chances of manual errors in entering their bill payments/expenses. This service has integration with more than 150 applications, so anybody can integrate it with its favorite application. You can easily track your expenses using this service. You just need to enter expenses into any text field in any application, then it will automatically be synchronized with Expensify account. Thus, if you are traveling on business trip, then you can easily enter your expenses into Expensify account without having to manually enter them each time. Therefore, it saves time and reduces human errors. Moreover, you can also convert your expenses into reports like expense reports, receipts etc. So, if you want to integrate your work with Expensify, then here is the brief procedure for doing so:

  • Download and install Expensify application onto your computer’s desktop (you can download it from https://expensify.com/download. Then sign up for an account on Expensify (you can sign up online at https://expensify.com/signup. You can also sign up for an account with your Facebook or Google account. Then log in to your account and set up an expense tracking profile for yourself. A profile contains information about you like name, email address, contact number etc.
  • Now log in to your profile and click on ‘My Profile’ tab located at the top left corner of the page. Then click on ‘Edit Account Settings’ link present at the bottom of the page under ‘Account Settings’ tab. Then you will see an option called ‘Integrations’. Click on that option and then click on ‘Add New Integration’ tab situated at the bottom right side of the page under ‘Integrations’ tab. After that, you have to specify the name of the application from which you want to integrate Expensify. In our case, we want to integrate this application with awork. So type “aWork” in the input box below “Application Name” tab and click on “Create Connection” tab located at the bottom right side of the page under “Additional Settings” tab. You will be asked to sign in to your aWork account so that you can integrate aWork with Expensify. After signing in to aWork account, you will be taken back to Expensify account where you will see a notification saying that aWork has been integrated with Expensify account successfully. Now you can add your aWork credit cards into your account by clicking on ‘Settings’ tab present at the upper part of the page under ‘Account Settings’ tab fplowed by clicking on ‘Add Card’ tab located at the bottom right side of page under ‘Add Cards’ tab. After adding aWork credit cards into your Expensify account, you will be able to track your expenses by simply entering expenses into aWork text fields within a few seconds without any manual entries into Expensify account. You can also use Expensify Mobile app for this purpose (you can download it from https://expensifymobileapp.com/. It makes it easy for you to track your expenses while you are travelling on business trips.
