Zoho Campaigns is a full-fledged Email Marketing Service for you to create and send emails, Newsletters and SMS campaigns. It also allows creation of landing pages and integrate with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. The goal of this service is to helps small businesses and entrepreneurs to get more leads and make more sales. It is integrated with Zoho CRM and Zoho Invoice. So if you're using either of these two services then you can use Zoho Campaigns and take your marketing efforts to next level. Please refer to my previous blog post for more details on Zoho CRM and Zoho Invoice. Here we will be focusing on Zoho Campaigns. Please note that you need to have a Zoho CRM account to use Zoho Campaigns. If you do not have a Zoho CRM account, create one at https://crm.zoho.com/signup. Once you have a Zoho CRM account, log in and go to Invoices -> Campaigns. You will see the fplowing screen. Click on Add New Campaign to start creating your campaign. This will take you to the campaign creation page where you can define all the details of your campaign. You can use drag-and-drop feature to drag various elements to the canvas or you can type in text to define various details of your campaign. Most of the things are self-explanatory but just in case you're not sure how to use certain features, you can click on Help link below the canvas area for detailed information. For example, here's the help link for adding an email address. You can also see the help link at the bottom right corner of the canvas. Take some time to explore all available options in campaign creation page because there are lot of them at your disposal. Once you are done with your campaign creation, press Preview button to see what your email will look like when it is sent out to recipients. If everything looks good, press Save button to save your campaign details. This will take you to Campaign Listing page where you will see all the campaigns that you have created so far. From this page you can choose any campaign that you want to send out or edit or delete it. If you want to send your campaign right now then click Send Now button otherwise go to Edit tab and make changes if needed and then click Send Now button again. Below is an example campaign email that I created using Zoho Campaigns. As you can see this email was sent through Gmail so it has the signature of my Gmail account along with latest updates from my LinkedIn account at the bottom of the email. You can send emails using your own SMTP server as well by choosing that option while creating your email campaign. You need to provide SMTP server's host name, user name and password along with port number etc for this method. For more information about SMTP server settings please refer to this article at Zoho site. Once you are done with your campaign creation, it would be great if you promote via social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. You can also create a custom landing page for your email campaign which can be linked through your social media sites like Facebook, Twitter etc. This will make it easy for people who visit your landing page to subscribe into your email list or visit your website directly etc. For creating a custom landing page please refer to this article at Zoho site. For promoting your email marketing campaign via social media sites, please refer to this article at Zoho site. There are many other useful articles at Zoho site that can help you understand how to use this feature better with step by step instructions etc. In my opinion whatever campaign you create using Zoho Campaigns, it is important that you track its performance so that you can see who opened your email most often, which links were clicked most often etc so that you can plan accordingly for future campaigns with better results. For tracking your email campaign performance please go here . Also do not forget to check out the complete list of email templates available at Zoho site for free use in your email marketing campaigns with amazing graphics and cpors etc which may be used in any of the templates available with Google Apps as well as Microsoft Exchange as well as Yahoo WebMail as well as AOL WebMail as well as GMX WebMail as well as Plaxo WebMail as well as FastMail as well as AOL WebMail as well as Mail2World as well as MailVault as well as BlueHost WebMail as well as HostPapa WebMail as well as JustHost WebMail as well as HostMonster WebMail as well as 1&1 WebMail as well as Google Apps for Businesses as well as Office 365 Business Premium as well as Office 365 Business Essentials as well as Office 365 Small Business Premium as well as Office 365 Midsize Business Premium as well as Office 365 Enterprise E3 & E4 as well as Office 365 Education A3 & A4 as well as Office 365 ProPlus A3 & A4 as well as Office 365 Exchange Online Plan 1 & Plan 2 as well as Office 365 Exchange Online Kiosk Plan 1 & Plan 2 and Other Email Accounts . With this new feature if you send out an email and any recipient replies back asking a question or requesting information, then instead of having their reply directed back to them unread, if they include your email address in their reply then their reply will appear directly in your inbox without even forwarding their reply back to them first! Isn't that cop? This feature is called Smart Reply and is very useful especially when you receive a lot of bulk emails like newsletters from various companies etc whose replies may not be important enough to spend time reading each one of those replies individually but still it would be nice to know what those replies say and which ones require further action before deleting those mails. So this Smart Reply feature is very useful in such cases and makes email managing much easier for users like me!
