Zoho Inventory is an online inventory management software top used to manage product information and operations in a warehouse. It is an all-in-one business spution that integrates with Sales, accounting, purchase, manufacturing, production, quality, support, human resources, HR management, warehouse management and supplier management.

SharePoint?

SharePoint is a web platform that can be used by businesses to organize their data in intranets and share it with the employees, partners and suppliers across the globe.

Integration of Zoho Inventory and SharePoint

Below are the features of Zoho Inventory that can be integrated with SharePoint to make them more functional:

  • Zoho Inventory allows users to create product documents for each product in your inventory. Users can choose the document template for product information sheet, packing slip, invoice, RFQ response, delivery note or packing list. The template can also be customized based on your requirement.
  • Users can add images of products to the product document. They can also add images of products when creating sales orders or purchase orders in Zoho Inventory.
  • Users can add custom fields in the product document. These fields can be used to store additional information regarding each product. For example, you can add fields like quantity available in stock, quantity on order or quantity shipped. The custom fields can also be used for storing information regarding the vendor of the product, cost price of the product in the inventory, price of the product in the inventory etc.
  • Zoho Inventory allows users to assign serial numbers to products in the inventory. Each time a new product is added into the inventory, users can specify its serial number. This helps keep track of products spd or received after they are received from the shelves. When an employee sells a product, he/she can enter the serial number of that product to complete the sale. If the customer wants to return the product, an employee can check the serial number against the one entered at the time of sale to verify if it has been spd earlier or not.
  • When creating sales orders, purchase orders or receiving documents through Zoho Inventory, users can select products from the inventory and send them to other users automatically after they are created. This feature saves hours of your valuable time as you do not have to create separate copies of the document every time you want to share it with someone else.
  • With Zoho Inventory’s tax engine integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting software, you can manage taxes related to each transaction made with your customers or vendors across all your transactions by using Zoho Inventory’s tax engine integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting software. The taxes are calculated based on different taxes set by each province or state by combining Zoho Inventory’s tax engine integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting software’s tax rates with the shipping rates of Zoho Inventory’s shopping cart integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting software’s sales order module. When creating sales orders, users can set up shipping rate based on each province or state here as well. This tax engine integration with Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting software is integrated with Zoho Inventory’s sales order management module only and not any other module of Zoho Inventory’s inventory management software top.
  • Zoho Inventory allows users to sync inventory items with Microsoft Outlook email addresses so that all email communications related to products are stored in one place rather than being stored separately in emails on individual user computers or laptops. If you are connected to Microsoft Exchange server then it will sync all emails of all users connected to this exchange server regardless of whether they are connected or not through Microsoft Outlook client software or not. But if you are connected through POP3/IMAP email client software then it will sync all emails of all users connected through this mail client regardless of whether they are connected or not through Microsoft Outlook client software or not. You can enable this feature by going to Preferences > Email Sync > Email Sync Settings section and checking “Enable Email Sync” checkbox there. You may also want to check “Send Email Notifications” checkbox which will send notifications to users who have set up their email accounts in Zoho Inventory such as notification for new invoices created by you etc. This feature doesn’t sync emails that are sent through the email client software instead of Microsoft Outlook client software such as Thunderbird client software or Apple Mail client software or any other client software that is not compatible with Microsoft Outlook client software and hence this feature doesn’t sync emails that are sent through these email client software programs either and hence it is recommended to use Microsoft Outlook client software instead of these email client software programs whenever possible for sending and receiving emails through your email account.
