Zoho Desk is a software that was developed by the Indian company Zoho Corporation in 2007. It is designed to provide sputions around customer support. Zoho Desk has two main components:

  • Zoho Desk – The first component is a help desk and CRM spution which is used by small businesses, enterprises, freelancers and even large companies like Toyota, Intel, etc. It allows users to manage customer support efficiently, handle sales inquiries and marketing campaigns, create reports, schedule appointments, etc. The software also provides an auto-reply feature for email and SMS.   • Zoho Assist – This is a desktop application that supports mobile phones. It can be used on iOS devices (iPad/iPhone. or Android devices. When someone calls your business phone number, it opens the Zoho Assist app on their mobile device. After pressing ‘Connect’, the caller can either talk to your support agent directly or leave a message. You can also send callers to voice mail if they are not available to answer the call at the time it occurs.

SMS Alert?

SMS Alert is a mobile app that can be used with Zoho Assist. It allows you to send messages to the app when your phone number is called from business phones. This way you can use Zoho Assist for your business phone number as well as receive notifications via SMS from it. With this integration you can know who called you when your phone was unavailable and respond to them via SMS without having to call back or log into Zoho Assist.
