Integration of Zendesk and Facebook Page

Zendesk is a customer service software provider headquartered in San Francisco, California. The company has offices in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Zendesk was founded by Mikkel Svane and Morten Primdahl in Copenhagen. In October 2009, the company raised $7 million in funding from Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners. In August 2010, Zendesk announced a $30 million Series C round of funding led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from Benchmark Capital and Index Ventures. In January 2011, Zendesk announced that it had grown revenues 600% year over year to $10 million and added more than 1,200 customers. On November 10, 2015, Zendesk announced that it had raised an additional $100 million in venture capital financing on a valuation of $1.5 billion.[3] This round of funding values the company at more than four times its previous valuation.[4] In May 2017, Zendesk announced it had raised another $100 million in funding from investors including T Rowe Price Associates Inc., Fidelity Investments and Tiger Global Management LLC.[5] In February 2018, Zendesk acquired Ottawa-based startup Stitch for an undisclosed sum.[6]

Facebook is an American online social media and social networking service company based in Menlo Park, California. Founded by Mark Zuckerberg, Chris Hughes, Dustin Moskovitz and Eduardo Saverin on February 4, 2004,[10] initially Zuckerberg did not intend to create a social network at first. He said that Facebook was originally designed to only be for cplege students.[11][12] Then he stated that “it ended up being useful for people other than cplege students”.[13]

Integration of Zendesk and Facebook Page

The integration of Facebook Page and Zendesk is very favorable because it can save time and money for users. Moreover, it will allow users to manage all the customer’s conversations in one place without having to log into other platforms. It helps to know what your customers are saying about their experience with your brand or product. Furthermore, it keeps you up to date with your customer’s demands because you can see how many interactions they have had with your business or brand. This integration allows businesses to respond to customer feedbacks and problem sputions right away through a quick response feature that allows business owners to reply to any conversation as soon as it is made. And also it allows businesses to share information about promotions or discounts. With this integration there is no need for companies to take time to reply each individual message on Facebook because all messages are sent straight to Zendesk via email. And then the customer service team can reply back to the customer by clicking on the message in Zendesk. They can also use the ticketing system to respve customer issues. According to one Zendesk article[14] shared by Facebook support page, this integration can provide two different ways to improve customer service through Facebook Page:

  • Get notified whenever customers mention your business or brand name on Facebook. Whenever a customer mentions your business or brand name on Facebook, we send you a notification within Facebook so you can reply immediately.
  • Easily respond to customer inquiries on Facebook. Whenever a customer sends you a message through your Facebook Page, we also send you a notification within Zendesk so you can reply quickly with the appropriate content (e.g., FAQs or links. You can also view responses directly within Facebook or from Zendesk’s web app.
  • Benefits of Integration of Zendesk and Facebook Page

The benefits of integrating Zendesk and Facebook Page are that it saves time and money for users. Also it makes customer service easy and convenient for users. For example if a customer has a question related to a product and they contact you through your Facebook Page instead of sending you an email or calling you directly they can just leave a comment on your Facebook Page which will alert you that someone has left a comment on your Facebook Page. This is very beneficial because it saves time because instead of replying back through email or calling them it just takes one click with this integration . Also this saves money because if you have many queries coming through then it will be costly to respond back but with this integration there is no need for companies to take time to reply each individual message on Facebook because all messages are sent straight to Zendesk via email. And then the customer service team can reply back to the customer by clicking on the message in Zendesk. They can also use the ticketing system to respve customer issues.

As mentioned above the integration of Zendesk and Facebook Page is very advantageous because it allows users to manage all the customer’s conversations in one place without having to log into other platforms. It helps to know what your customers are saying about their experience with your brand or product. Furthermore, it keeps you up to date with your customer’s demands because you can see how many interactions they have had with your business or brand.
