Hunter is an online platform for individuals who want to find home based jobs. The platform allows users to find jobs based on their skill sets and location. It was launched in 2011 after it received seed funding of $800,000 from 500 Startups, 500 Kiwi Startups, and various angel investors. In order to integrate Xero and hunter, Hunter will have to pay a fee to Xero that will be used for accountants to do the integration. Hunter will have to pay a subscription fee for using Xero for its needs. There are three different ways how these two companies can integrate their systems with each other. As stated above, Hunter will have to pay a fee to Xero for this process. First, they can integrate the two systems on the existing structure. Second, they can build a new platform using Xero as a base. Third, they can use a third party application that will enable them to integrate both systems. In my opinion, the first option is the best way for the integration as it requires less effort from both parties and neither party will have to spend money on developing new platforms from scratch. Both companies have already built their own systems and integrating them will just take some time and money from both parties. Once they have integrated their systems, there will be a huge benefit to both companies as they will be able to sell a single package of financial management sputions instead of selling their individual services separately. Hunter being a platform for finding home based jobs will have access to a large number of freelancers with different kinds of skills. These freelancers will also be able to find work with ease on hunter’s platform without having to pay any subscription fees (for now. Hunter will no longer need to advertise on different websites and newspapers as they can attract freelancers directly on their website without having any extra costs. This integration will also benefit Xero as their product will be available at a cheaper price and will also be more accessible to people with different kinds of skill sets (due to Hunter’s integration. People with different skill sets who may not be able to afford Xero’s monthly subscription fees can now access Xero at a cheaper rate due to Hunter’s integration with them. This is a win-win situation as both companies don’t need to spend money or time on constructing new features or systems for this integration.
