WordPress is a software that lets you create websites and blogs. It offers some themes and plugins for free which you can use to customize your website so it fits your needs. BigCommerce is an e-commerce platform that lets you create an online store and sell products. It has a lot of features that let you customize the look of your store, manage orders, taxes, and other important stuff. This article will show you how to integrate WordPress and BigCommerce.

BigCommerce?

BigCommerce is an e-commerce platform that lets you create an online shop. The price ranges from $29 per month for the starter plan to $149 per month for the enterprise plan. They use a free trial to let you test their services, but you have to enter credit card information during the process. You can use the starter plan to create a store without any financial investment.

Integration of WordPress and BigCommerce

You can easily integrate WordPress and BigCommerce, but these are the steps you need to fplow:

• Sign up for a free account on BigCommerce if you don’t have one yet (don’t worry they give you a 14-day free trial)
• Go to your dashboard in BigCommerce, then select “Apps” and click “Connectors” on the top right corner.
• Scrpl down until you see WordPress and click it. A pop-up window will appear where you will see your WordPress URL. If you do not have one, please click “Get Started” on the right side. Then just fill in the form with your email address and password. You will get an email if everything went fine. 4. If you want to add your domain name, just go to Settings > General settings and click “Add Domain” on the right side. It will redirect you to the DNS settings of your domain provider where you need to type in your primary and secondary DNS servers. After that, go back to BigCommerce and click Save Changes. 5. Now back in your dashboard in BigCommerce, you will see some new options. You need to click “Start Publishing” on the right side. 6. Now go to your website in your web browser and go to Settings > Webhooks. Click “Add Webhook” on the right side and choose “POST” as the method. Then copy and paste the webhook URL in the box below, save it, and click “Publish” at the bottom of the page. 7. If everything went well, then you have successfully integrated WordPress and BigCommerce! Now we need to setup some options for our integration. Go back to your dashboard in BigCommerce again and select Apps > Connectors again. Then scrpl down until you find WordPress again and click on it. 8. You will see some options here that are specific for WordPress integration with BigCommerce and we need to complete them all. Here is a brief description of each option. Enable Single Product Page - This will let you display a product variations on your single product pages.

Now that we finished our integration between WordPress and BigCommerce, it’s time to visit our website! A few things might happen when we visit our website after the integration. The homepage displays random posts from our blog or our products (if there are no posts yet.

The home page doesn’t display any categories (if we enabled category pages. This happens because we need to add those manually through the Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > Add/Edit Menus option in WordPress (if we enabled category pages. 10. If everything is working well, then congratulations! Your WordPress site is now integrated with BigCommerce! 11. If something went wrong or didn’t work, then make sure that the webhook URL was copied correctly before pasting it into the box in step 6 above (make sure there are no typos. Also make sure that everything else was configured properly as mentioned above (especially with the URLs. 12.
