Integration of WHMCS and OpsGenie

WHMCS (Web Hosting Master Contrp Panel. is a web-based hosting contrp panel that enables web hosts and resellers to manage their clients' accounts, services, and products. It was founded in 2004 by Rui Chen, Stephen Luigman, John Truitt, and Rick Bushey. WHMCS is designed to be user-friendly for technically unskilled web hosting providers and administrators.   • User Interface - In the Web Hosting -> Account Information page in WHMCS, there is a new tab for "Alerts" which shows all alerts generated from WHMCS. If there is an alert in the "Alerts" tab, a pop up box will appear to provide a short summary of the alert and a link to the full alert details in the OpsGenie dashboard. The user can choose to dismiss the alert from this pop up box.
  • Email Notifications - Users can set alerts from WHMCS to be sent to their email addresses. These email notifications contain a summary of the alert and a link to view the full alert details in OpsGenie dashboard. In addition to this integration, WHMCS users have the ability to use an API key to send alerts from WHMCS to OpsGenie. This allows them to configure a firewall or load balancer in front of their website that would trigger a notification in OpsGenie if there was a network connectivity outage that prevented access to their website or other network services.
  • Mobile Push Notifications - OpsGenie provides mobile push notifications for Android and iOS devices via Prowl and Pushover respectively. Users can configure alerts from WHMCS to send mobile push notifications to their mobile devices when they occur. When the alert occurs, the user can view the alert details and take necessary actions immediately without having to retrieve their phones and open apps manually.
