Integration of Webflow and FuseDesk

Webflow is a web-based top for developing responsive websites. It offers the ability to build one site (i.e., one website. that will automatically adapt to different devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops. Webflow integrates with FuseDesk so that you can manage your content across both platforms in one place.

FuseDesk

FuseDesk is a web-based top for managing your website content. It allows you to create and edit your content in one place, and keep it synchronized across multiple channels. You can use it to manage content for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube, Yelp, Slideshare, and more than 60 other channels.

Integration of Webflow and FuseDesk

You can integrate Webflow and FuseDesk by signing up for a FuseDesk account. Once you have an account, you need to create a Custom Post Type for Webflow. Then connect your Webflow account with FuseDesk.

Step 1. Create a Custom Post Type for Webflow

A Custom Post Type allows you to create new pages on your WordPress site that are customized for the plugin you are using. To create a Custom Post Type for your Webflow posts, fplow these steps.

Go to Settings > Custom Post Types .

> . Click the “Add New” button.

button. Enter a title for your Custom Post Type. This should be “Webflow”.

Choose “Posts” as the “Parent Post Type”. This means that each page created in Webflow will be a page within WordPress.

Click the “Add New” button again.

button again. Select “Webflow” from the drop-down menu of Custom Post Types. This ensures that all your Webflow pages are included in the Custom Post Type for Webflow. You can also choose to include any other custom types that you have created for Webflow. For example, if you have created a custom type for Workflows or Portfpios, you can choose to include them in this Custom Post Type as well. Click the “Add New” button once more. Click “Save Changes” when done.

Step 2. Connecting Webflow and FuseDesk

Now that you have created a Custom Post Type for Webflow posts, go to Pages > Add New , and enter a title for your page. Click the “Select Custom Post Type” drop-down menu and select “Webflow” from the list of available post types. Click the “Add New” button again and add the web address of your site in the URL field. Click “Publish” when done. Now add some text to the body content box and add your image in the post format area (if applicable. Make sure you add some SEO keywords to this page so that search engines will pick up on its importance when it comes time to indexing your website. Click “Publish” when done.

Since you have added a page to WordPress that has a link back to a page on your Webflow site, you need to connect your Webflow account with FuseDesk so that it can handle all of your content management needs in one location. Fplow these steps to do so:

Click on the “Integrations” tab at the top of the screen and click on “Connect with Webflow” from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Click on “Authorize FuseDesk” at the bottom of the screen when prompted by WordPress to do so. Copy the token from the box that appears after you have authorized FuseDesk, and paste it into the box in FuseDesk where it says “Copy this code to use in your SDK!” Click “Connect” when done. Click “Done!” at the bottom of the screen. Click on “Dashboard” from the FuseDesk menu at the top of the screen, and then click on “Manage Content” from the dashboard menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Click on “Post Types” from the dashboard menu on the left-hand side of the screen, and then click on “Set Up Custom Post Types” under Webflow . Fill out all of the required information so that FuseDesk knows which pages on your site are part of this Custom Post Type (i.e., all of your Webflow pages. Note . You can leave any boxes unchecked if they don’t apply to your website (e.g., if you don’t want FuseDesk to handle your images. Add any additional pages that you need to by clicking the “Add New Page” button at the bottom of the form. If you wish to exclude any pages from this Custom Post Type (e.g., if you do not want FuseDesk handling these particular pages), click on “Exclude Pages” near the top of this form, fill out all of the required information, and click “Save Changes” when done. Note . If you need help figuring out how many pages there are on your website, go to Pages > Add New , and check the box beside each page title that you want to count (i.e., all of your Webflow pages. Once they are checked, look at the number in brackets beside each page title (e.g., (1). This number indicates how many pages are associated with this particular page title (e.g., all of your Webflow pages are associated with this page title. Add any additional pages that you need to by clicking the “Add New Page” button at the bottom of this form if they are not already listed here (i.e., if you have more than one page with similar names. If you have any images that you need FuseDesk to handle on these webpages, click on “Image URLs” near the top of this form, fill out all of required fields, and click “Save Changes” when done. If you have any content that needs formatting or styling on these webpages, click on “Content Mappings” near the top of this form, fill out all required fields, and click “Save Changes” when done. If you have any videos that need formatting or styling on these webpages, click on “Video URLs” near the top of this form, fill out all required fields, and click “Save Changes” when done. If there are any files that need formatting or styling on these webpages, click on “File URLs” near the top of this form, fill out all required fields, and click “Save Changes” when done. Note . If you need help figuring out how many file URLs there are on your website, go to File Manager > Files , view each file name, and note how many times it appears (e.g., if there is only one file name appearing here but five file URLs listed in FuseDesk. Files. Manage , etc., then there are four file URLs. Add any additional files that you need FuseDesk to handle by clicking on “Add Files” near the top of this form and filling out all required fields (e.g., if there are two file names appearing here but seven file URLs listed in FuseDesk. Files. Manage , etc., then there are five file URLs. Click “Save Changes” when done; then repeat step 9 until all files have been added (you may need to delete some files from this section before adding new ones. If there is any content that needs formatting or styling for these webpages (e.g., videos and/or photos), click on “Content Mappings” near the top of this form and fill out all required fields; then click “Save Changes” when done (you may need to delete some mappings from this section before adding new ones. If there are any additional fields that need coding for these webpages (e.g., HTML tags), click on “Custom Fields” near the top of this form and fill out all required fields; then click “Save Changes” when done (you may need to delete some custom fields from this section
