Integration of Wealthbox CRM and Blesta

According to business.com, there are two main types of CRM systems:

  • Database-based software
  • Cloud-based software

Database-based CRM manages customer data in one or more databases. The system is typically accessed through a desktop application that runs inside the company’s internal network. Cloud-based CRM uses web applications accessible through a browser. The cloud-based application is accessed using the internet over an internal or external network connection. (Business.com, 2017)

As illustrated above, database-based CRM has to be installed on the company’s internal network whereas cloud-based CRM is accessible through an internet browser which means that it can be accessed by employees outside the company’s internal network.
