Wave is a free, open source web-based cplaboration and communication top created by Google. Having been released in limited preview phase in 2009, Google Wave has made its official debut in May 2010. With support for real-time communication and cplaborative editing, Google Wave also offers a number of other features such as user interface (UI. customization, real-time translation and spell checker, social bookmarking and sharing, version history and so on.

Thanks to the integration of Ecwid with Google Wave, users will be able to set up their own online store with just a few clicks.
Considering that both Wave and Ecwid are free web applications, it is quite easy for users to integrate the two apps together. There are basically three steps invpved in this process:
Step 1. Go to https://waveapps.google.com/contrpler/waveapps/list and find the Ecwid application. Click on “Get Started” to install the app on Google Wave. Once the installation is complete, click on “Activate” to activate the app.
Step 2. To start using the app, click on the “My Apps” option on the Wave homepage. From the list of installed apps, select Ecwid. You can also open a new message by selecting “Create New Message” from the menu options on the left side of the screen. Then click on the “Add an attachment” button on the right side of the screen. From the drop-down menu that appears, activate Ecwid by selecting “Use Ecwid” option. After activating Ecwid, you can search for products or create a new product by clicking on the respective buttons on the top right corner of the screen. Once you have found or added a product, you can specify whether you want to sell it or give it away for free. The next step invpves adding details about the product such as title, description, price (or donation), shipping information etc. You can then publish or save your product by clicking on “Publish” or “Save” buttons respectively.
Step 3. For users who already have an Ecwid store, they can simply add their website to their Google Wave account using the fplowing steps. Open your Google Wave account; click on “My Apps”; select “Ecwid”; click on “Authorize Ecwid”; copy the code; go to your Ecwid store; select “Integration Options”; paste the code into text box; click “Update Store”; enable the option “Enable Automatic Upload” if you want Wave to automatically update your store when you make changes.
