Vtiger is used in both small and large businesses, and is also popular among open source developers as it is open source.
Pipedrive is an online sales management top that helps companies manage their sales pipeline, leads, campaigns and customers. It is a SaaS application which means that you do not have to download or install any software on your computer. You access your data via the Internet, and the software is hosted by Pipedrive. The company was founded in Finland in 2009 by Alexander Aghassipour, and they now have offices in 8 countries around the world. Their headquarters are located in Tallinn and Tartu, Estonia. Pipedrive is used by more than 5,000 companies from over 40 countries around the world.
Integrating Pipedrive and Vtiger together will allow you to combine data from each platform into a single place for easy access. This integration can be done manually or automatically. In this case, we will be looking at how to integrate these two programs automatically.
First, you will need to go to the Preferences section of the Pipedrive dashboard. Here, switch to the API tab and click on the Create API Key button:
This will bring up a small window with a few fields that you need to fill out before creating your API key:
Once you have entered your information, click the Create button at the bottom of the box. This will create an API key for you. Copy this key somewhere where you can easily access it because you will need it in Vtiger:
Now that you have created an API key for Pipedrive, you must go to your Vtiger dashboard and click on Administration > System Settings > General Settings > Web Services:
Here, click on the Add New Service button. Then, choose the service type “Salesforce” from the dropdown menu and enter your unique API key from Pipedrive in the Token field:
