Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS. is a web service that enables push notifications to mobile devices and email addresses. It is a part of Amazon Web Services. It is a flexible, fully managed cloud-based system that enables you to send messages to any topic or queue. You can publish messages through HTTP/HTTPS endpoints or through Amazon SNS APIs. The messages can be sent to one device or to thousands of devices simultaneously. It also supports filtering rules for messages. It does not require any additional software installation on the client side. It is used by small business owners for sending out messages about new products or updates in their store.

Integration of Veeqo and Amazon SNS

Veeqo has a feature called Push Notifications in its mobile app which enables you to send push notifications to mobile devices. These notifications are sent when a specific action is performed in your store such as if a product is added or updated or if an order is placed. Fplow the steps given below to integrate Veeqo with Amazon SNS:

Step 1. Log into your Veeqo account. On the page that appears, click on Account Settings at the top right corner. On the page that appears, click on Integrations under the Integrations tab on the left side area. On the page that appears, click on New integration at the top right corner. On the page that appears, select Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS. from the drop down menu. Then choose your Amazon Web Services (AWS. account to connect with Veeqo. If you do not have an AWS account, you can create one by clicking on Get Started Now button. After creating an AWS account, you need to do two things to complete the connection between Veeqo and Amazon SNS:

• Provide the credentials for connecting to Amazon SNS 2. Set up webhooks for Amazon SNS so that whenever an event occurs in your store, it sends out a message to Amazon SNS via webhooks integration. By default, there are 4 webhooks available in Veeqo but you can add more webhooks using this guide.

Step 2. To provide credentials for connecting to Amazon SNS, enter your AWS Access Key ID in Access key field and then your AWS Secret Access Key in Secret access key field. Your AWS Access Key ID is available in your AWS conspe in Security Credentials->Access Keys section . Step 3. To set up webhooks for Amazon SNS so that whenever an event occurs in your store it sends out a message to Amazon SNS via webhooks integration, click on Webhooks tab on the left side area of the screen. On the next screen, in Add new webhook enter your webhook name in Webhook name field then in Type select Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS. from the drop down menu then enter your Amazon SNS endpoint url in Endpoint url field . For example if you are using Amazon Web Services US East Region you will enter https://sns.us-east-2.amazonaws.com in Endpoint url field . Then click on Add webhook .
