Trello is a web-based top that helps teams track their projects. It was created by Fog Creek Software, a company in New York, and it has been publicly available since 2011. The goal of Trello is to help teams cplaborate more effectively by organizing all the information needed for their projects. This can be anything from tasks to files to long pieces of text. The user interface is very simple, so anyone can start using it right away, even if they have no experience with other project management software.
CloudTalk is a business communication service. It offers services like voice, video, and messaging to help companies communicate more effectively. CloudTalk was created by CloudTalk Communications, Inc. which is based in New York City. This service was released in 2017 and is a growing company with many customers.
Integrating Trello and CloudTalk to create one working system is easy and will benefit users of both services. Both systems offer similar features related to communication. For example, CloudTalk has a video chat feature that allows people to have a more face-to-face setting for meetings, while Trello offers a cplaboration feature which allows team members to work on projects together. Both services offer text messaging as well as email notifications. Sometimes these two features can be difficult to use because they require different programs on different devices. If you are working on a project in Trello and want to send a message through CloudTalk, you would have to switch back and forth between programs. Integrating the two services creates one place where you can manage all your communications in one place. This will save time and frustration when trying to get a message out quickly to team members or when trying to set up a meeting.
If Trello and CloudTalk were integrated, the benefits would be immense for users of each service. For example, if you are using CloudTalk for your business but also use Trello for personal use, you would be able to easily share messages between the two services without having to log into two different accounts. Another benefit would be that if you are using multiple devices while working with Trello and CloudTalk, you could easily switch between them with just one login. This means that no matter what device you are using, you can access your information and messages quickly. It would also make it easier for teams to cplaborate when working on projects because the messages sent in Trello would appear in the chat window on CloudTalk. Finally, customer support for each company would be able to contact customers from either product within the same program rather than having to go back and forth between the two separate customer support websites.
When I first heard about this project I was very excited about the opportunity to research some new technpogy. I had used Trello once before this assignment but hadn’t used CloudTalk yet at all. I was excited about finding a novel idea for this project because I wasn’t sure how I would find something unique with two applications that are already so prevalent in corporate America today. Once I began my research though I became much more interested in researching the other service in an attempt to see how well the two services might work together and be truly helpful to users of either platform. I learned a lot doing this assignment, both about the two services themselves as well as how services like this can be beneficial for businesses today, especially when compared to how things were done ten or twenty years ago when these types of services didn’t exist at all or were much less common than they are today.
