Instagram Lead Ads are ads that businesses can post on Instagram to cplect leads.
This business is called “Lumisource”. It sells lighting fixtures, desks, tables, chairs, etc.
To start this integration process, the business has to build an Instagram profile. The profile must include its product photos and their descriptions. Each photo must have the respective product’s price. The account name should be something easy to remember. Lumisource’s profile name is “Lumo”.
After creating an Instagram profile, Lumo can create their first Instagram Lead Ad. To do this, Lumo needs to install the Teachable app on their smartphones or tablets. Next, they'll access their Teachable account from the app, then they'll click on "Create Instagram Lead Ads". The app will ask Lumo to login into their Instagram account, then choose which type of ad they want to create (i.e. single image or carousel. After choosing the ad type, Lumo will upload their first image, write some text describing their product and choose which of their products they want to advertise. Then, the Teachable app will show them how many leads they will get for $XX. For example, if Lumo wants to receive 50 leads for $10 per lead, they just need to click the button that says "Show Me". The Teachable app will give them some more information about their ad before actually creating it. Once they fill all the necessary information and hit "Create", the app will automatically set up the ad on Lumo's Instagram profile. With one button click, Lumo can now start showing ads on their products.
The Teachable app gives Lumo two ways to post their ad on Instagram; automatically or manually. If Lumo chooses the automatic option, the Teachable app will post the ad on Lumo's Instagram profile at 9:00 AM EST every day (if Lumo's hours are Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00 PM EST. If Lumo chooses the manual option, they'll choose at what time they want to post their ad and which day of the week they want to use this particular time slot. This way, if Lumo wants to run a special promotion for a specific day of the week or a specific hour, they can use this option to post that specific promotion at a specific time and date.
This integration benefits both parties. For example, if someone leaves a comment on one of Lumo's ads saying “I want this product”, if this comment comes from a Teachable user, Lumo will send this user a message through Teachable inviting them to purchase this product. By integrating Teachable with Instagram Lead Ads, both companies reduce their costs by not having to hire a customer service representative to answer their customers’ comments. Additionally, by using Instagram Lead Ads instead of Google Adwords or Facebook Ads to promote Lumo's products, people can see pictures of Lumo's products as opposed to just seeing pictures of keywords related to those products. Buying from Teachable is more convenient for those who buy from them as well as those who sell from them as they can make purchases from any device as long as they have internet connection. In addition, if someone buys a product from these sellers through Teachable’s platform, then Teachable will take $10 out of that $100 purchase and give it back to the seller as commission and the seller will also give $10 back to Teachable because Teachable gives $10 commission for each customer that comes from its platform.
