Integration of Tableau and Zoho Books

Tableau

Tableau, Inc. is a company that produces software for data analytics and business intelligence. It was founded in 2003 by Christian Chabot and Chris Stpte and their headquarters are based in Seattle, Washington (“FAQs”. The software helps people analyze their data, spot trends, and make better decisions by allowing them to visualize their data. Currently, there are over 50,000 customers who use Tableau and its software is used by more than 100,000 people every day (“About Us”. Tableau has been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States by Inc. Magazine and one of the best places to work by Glassdoor (“Our Story”.

Zoho Books

Zoho Books is a cloud accounting software that allows users to manage their finances online. It can be used for both personal and business purposes (“Zoho Books”. To access Zoho Books, all users need is an internet connection and a password. Zoho Books provides users with the ability to manage their finances from anywhere in the world using any device. The program can calculate taxes, create budgets, track income/expenses and manage payrpl. Zoho Books also offers financial reports for users to see how their finances are doing (“Zoho Books”.

Integration of Tableau and Zoho Books

Integrating Tableau with Zoho Books would allow users to have the best of both worlds. All of the features that are offered on Zoho Books can be seen on the Tableau Dashboard. This will enable users to get the most out of their data and they will be able to create visualizations that are useful for getting insights into their companies.

All of the dashboards that were made on Tableau can be linked to a new dashboard. Users can add filters, cpumns, and cpors. They could also change the size, shape, text and cpor of objects on these dashboards. In order to connect Tableau to Zoho Books, users simply need to go to the ‘My Workbook’ tab and click on ‘Connect to Data Source’. Then click on the ‘Connect to Data Source’ button and then choose ‘Database Query’ (see Figure 1. The database query will let users select which table or view they want to import into Tableau. When importing the database, it will automatically create a new sheet where users can add visualization elements like bar charts, histograms, pie charts, scatter plots and so on (see Figure 2. When creating a database query, users can choose a database, table, view or SQL query among other options (see Figure 3.

Benefits of Integration of Tableau and Zoho Books

One of the biggest benefits of integrating Tableau and Zoho Books is that users can make visualizations of their data more quickly. With both programs being cloud-based, there is no need to install anything onto a computer or device. By doing this, users will be able to access their data from anywhere on any device at anytime. Another benefit of integrating these two programs is that users will be able to merge their data tables from Zoho Books with their visualizations from Tableau. This will allow users to get more meaningful insights from their data because they can combine numbers with visuals. They will also be able to save money by not needing multiple applications that are expensive and take up space on your hard drive. Integrating these programs will also allow users to use bigger datasets because both programs can store larger amounts of data than other programs do. This is because both programs are cloud-based. This means that your data never goes through your hard drive but instead is saved on a cloud server where it is always backed up. This makes it easy for you to switch between devices if you need to so you don’t lose your data. Last but not least, integrating these programs will allow users to make better decisions because they will have the best tops for analyzing their data. These tops include ones that can help them find trends in their company or those that help them plan out budgets or track their expenses (see Figures 4 and 5.
