Google Calendar integration with Sympla is a new web-based calendar system that allows clients to organize their daily activities. In this web-based calendar system, you can share your calendars with your friends, family members or co-workers – people who have no access to your computer. This integration function makes it easy not only for personal use but also for business use.

How does Google Calendar Integration work

  • Open a Sympla account at www.sympla.com and click the “Add Calendar” button, then select Google Calendar as the calendar type.
  • Enter your Google Account e-mail and password (Note. You will need to be logged into your Google Account.
  • Create a sympla event and fill in the necessary information.
  • If you wish to restrict the sharing of this event, make sure to check “Share with my Friends” and move on to step five (This step is only applicable if sharing the event with your friends.
  • Click on the Google Calendar icon and copy the link provided, then paste it into an e-mail and send it to your friends. Alternatively, you may choose to modify the link and post it on a website or social networking site such as Facebook or Twitter for public viewing.
  • Verify that all your events were transferred from Google Calendar to your sympla account by logging in and viewing both calendars – Google and sympla – side by side. It should appear as one calendar seamlessly integrated together.
