TimeCamp is a time tracking system that helps you log your time in real-time. Users can monitor their work hours and analyze the data to find insights in how they can improve their productivity. The software also enables automatic time tracking that allows users to focus on working rather than manually logging their hours.
Smartsheet and TimeCamp are both web-based platforms that allow users to manage their tasks, schedules and other project-related activities. They use similar features such as task templates, calendars, dashboards and reporting. However, in order to integrate the two programs together, you will need to purchase a third-party program called Smartsheet-TimeCamp Connector. This integration program allows you to synchronize data between the two platforms, create new tasks in TimeCamp when you add something in Smartsheet and vice versa. The synchronization works regardless of whether the task exists when the integration is set up or not. For example, if you set up the integration while creating a new task in Smartsheet, it will show up automatically in TimeCamp. Alternatively, if you add a new task in TimeCamp first, it will appear on Smartsheet later on. In addition to integrating tasks from one platform to another, the integration allows you to create new kinds of tasks that did not exist previously with either program. For example, you can create a task in TimeCamp from a spreadsheet in Smartsheet that does not have any tasks yet. Furthermore, if you create a task in TimeCamp on Thursday at 8 AM, it will be synchronized with Smartsheet on Friday at 10 AM, even though there is no task that matches the description in Smartsheet yet. Once you add the matching task in Smartsheet, it will be automatically created in TimeCamp as well.
