Smartsheet is a web-based project management software that allows users to manage tasks, share documents and schedules, as well as track time. Smartsheet has over 5 million users in 160 countries, including many Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, Coca-Cpa, and Disney.

Smartsheet was founded by Josh Coates and Todd Skinner in 2006. The company headquarters are in Seattle. The company’s investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Salesforce Ventures, Sierra Ventures, Tenaya Capital, Index Ventures, and Shasta Ventures.

monday.com is a cloud-based business cplaboration platform for teams. It combines task management, calendar management, project management, CRM and email into one integrated work platform. monday.com supports the entire project lifecycle from idea creation to execution to final results. monday.com has over 200 employees worldwide, with headquarters in Berlin, Germany. The company was founded by Jorgen and Christian Lanng in 2014.

  • Integration of Smartsheet and monday.com:
  • One can connect your Smartsheet account to monday.com via “Connectors” tab in your monday.com account settings. By default, all data will be synced between your monday.com account and Smartsheet account. However, you can always change that later if you prefer to only sync certain data such as contacts or tasks.

    You can also choose which metadata fields you want to sync between your monday.com account and Smartsheet account. For example, if you already have some contacts added to your monday.com account from an earlier import, you can decide whether or not to sync those contacts with your Smartsheet account or add a new set of contacts to your Smartsheet account directly from your monday.com account.

    Once you have connected your Smartsheet account to your monday.com account, any changes that you make in one system will automatically sync with the other system in real time (assuming they are selected. For example, if you update a contact on your monday.com account, it will automatically update on your Smartsheet account and vice versa. Also, any events that are created on your monday.com calendar will automatically be added to your Smartsheet calendar, and vice versa. This synchronization happens every five minutes with minimal impact on your systems’ performance so that you don’t have to worry about updating records manually or waiting for files to upload and download constantly throughout the day or week. You can also see which data is being synced between your accounts at any time by visiting the “Connected Accounts” page inside your monday.com account settings page.

For example, we can see that when a new person joins a team, there is no need for an employee to spend time entering all their information into the system because it has already been done by the HR department when the employee first started working there; the HR department can then just give the employee's name and email address to the manager of the team so that they can be added to the team’s project on monday.com and Smartsheet respectively without any manual work required. This saves time for everyone invpved as well as ensuring that all current as well as historical information is accurate within both systems because it is being updated simultaneously from different sources rather than having inaccurate information existing within one system while another system has correct information about the same person or event; it also ensures consistency across both systems so that employees working on projects are not confused about whether or not a new person joining their team may also be working on another project outside of their scope of knowledge due to outdated information being present in one system but not another system; and it also saves money because there are no extra costs associated with maintaining multiple separate databases or having employees do manual data entry whenever there is an addition or removal of someone from a team because everything is done from one unified source instead of two separate ones.
