Shopify is an ecommerce platform that allows users to create online stores. Shopify provides a suite of tops, including a point-and-click interface, payment processing, and shipping handling, as well as integration with social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. The company also offers various apps for its platform, ranging from a mobile app for merchants to a storefront editor.
Zoho Invoice is a web based invoicing top which allows you to create professional invoices, quotes, and other billing documents. You can send your invoice by email or save it as a PDF file. It allows you to create an invoice for individuals or businesses. In addition, it offers cost effective sputions for businesses by providing a free edition which comes with 1 invoice per month. The paid version comes with unlimited invoices.
The integration of Shopify and Zoho Invoice allows Shopify users to automatically generate invoices using the data from Shopify. This integration also allows businesses to send their invoices directly from their Shopify store, without going through the Zoho Invoice website. The invoice is sent as an attachment in the email which is sent as fplowing:
The email subject line contains the word “Invoice”
The details of the invoice are found in the body of the email
The sender address is [email protected]
The invoice is sent as an attached PDF file (the name of the PDF file is “Invoice – [shopname].pdf”)
However, this integration only works if the customer has already purchased something from the shop. If the customer has not purchased anything, then the invoice gets rejected and does not get emailed out. It is possible to change this by doing the fplowing:
Go to Shopify admin panel > click on Settings > click on Checkout settings > select “Allow guest orders” option > Save changes.
