Integration of ShipStation and Keap

ShipStation is a cloud-based shipping software that is used by many e-commerce businesses to manage their shipping. ShipStation has partnered with Keap, a company that is dedicated to helping connect e-commerce platforms and their shipping providers (i.e. UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.. in an effort to reduce the amount of time it takes to ship products for their customers.

One of the main benefits of using ShipStation and Keap together is that it makes it easier and faster to ship products (and get them out to customers. because it automates the process of getting your product into the hands of your customers.

Take the example of an e-commerce website that is selling clothing. Shipping time will vary depending on where the customer lives, so it would be beneficial to ship products to different warehouses around the country so they can be delivered more quickly. This means dealing with multiple shipping providers. Each provider has its own specific guidelines and rates, so there is a lot of potential for errors and mistakes to be made.

For example, let’s say this company has a warehouse in San Francisco and another in New York. They want to send a shirt to a customer in Florida. The warehouse in San Francisco ships out the shirt and marks it as shipped on ShipStation – but they forget to send an invoice for the shirt to the customer’s credit card company. The shirt gets sent to New York, but at some point, ShipStation sends an email to the customer saying that the item has shipped, but not providing any tracking information or details about when they can expect their shirt to arrive. When the customer receives the shirt, they are unhappy because they didn’t receive any updates about their order being shipped, so they complain to both the company and the credit card company.

This is where integration between ShipStation and Keap can help. ShipStation can be connected to Keap so that when an order is placed, it receives information from Keap about who should ship out the order. Then ShipStation will automatically create an invoice for the order and send it to the customer’s payment processor. Now that all of this information has been automatically sent to Keap upon receiving an order, the company doesn’t have to worry about forgetting anything. The order will still get shipped out correctly, but now the company will get paid for their shirt before they have even sent it out.
