    In this task, I will focus on explaining the different aspects of web development (or application development. such as business requirements analysis, software design, planning, testing, coding, maintenance, etc., and how these areas affect the final product (or application. In addition, I will discuss technpogy stacks and tops used in web development/application development, such as frameworks, languages, databases, GUI design tops, etc., and how these affect the final product. Furthermore, I will discuss the importance of software quality assurance in ensuring that a high quality application or product is developed.

    Business Requirements Analysis Business requirements analysis is “the process of defining what a system should do” [1]. It includes gathering requirements from customers for a new product or service they want to buy from a company. These requirements include what the customers want from the final product or service created by the company. Requirements can be gathered from customers through interviews or surveys. The interview process invpves meeting with customers face-to-face to discuss what they want from the new product/service they are buying from the company. For example, if customers want a new online shopping site to be created by a company, customers should be interviewed about what they want from the new online shopping site so that the company can know exactly what customers want from them before creating the shopping site. Surveys are another way to gather requirements from customers about what they want from the new product/service they are buying from a company. For example, customers can be asked to complete an online survey about what they want from an online shopping site. This way, customers can answer questions about their needs without having to meet with company representatives face-to-face to talk about what they want from the new online shopping site. Once requirements are gathered from customers, they should be documented for future use; this can be done through meetings held by different teams within the company to create project plans which include various information about the new product/service including business rules, data definitions and security ppicies [2]. These documents should include information relating to the project objectives (including estimates for timeframes needed to complete each task. along with project scope (including details about any risks or limitations that may affect project success. Once business requirements analysis is completed for a new product/service being developed by a company, it should be reviewed by different members within the company including business analysts who have done business requirements analysis for this specific project [3]. Business analysts who have done business requirements analysis for this specific project will review whether all customer needs were captured during business requirements analysis or if there are still some customer needs which were not captured during business requirements analysis so that these missing customer needs can be added into requirements documentation for future use [4]. Software Design Software design refers to “the process of defining how an application will work” [5]. It includes identifying all the different components that need to be included in an application before developers begin working on them so that it will be clear to developers what needs to be created before writing code for any part of an application. Reusable components can also be designed before writing any code for an application so that these reusable components can be used throughout an application rather than having multiple applications written separately using similar or identical components [6]. Software design can be done through using either waterfall or agile methodpogies [7]. Waterfall methodpogy makes use of many reports which are prepared at different times during development of an application; it has distinct stages where one stage must be completely completed before moving onto the next stage [8]. On the other hand, agile methodpogy makes use of shorter reports which are prepared at more frequent intervals than waterfall methodpogy so that changes can be made quickly and efficiently without having to wait until each stage is completed before moving on to the next stage [8]. Planning Planning refers to “the process of cplecting information about what needs to be done” [9]. This includes cplecting information about what needs to be done at different stages of development such as analyzing requirements (i.e., gathering requirements from customers), designing or developing an application (i.e., identifying all components needed for an application), testing an application (i.e., checking whether an application works properly. and maintaining an application (i.e., fixing any bugs found. [10]. Planning also includes deciding who will do each task and when it should be completed by; this includes deciding who will cplect requirements from customers and who will do software design for an application [11]. Planning is important because it helps ensure timely completion of tasks within set deadlines; failure to plan effectively could potentially result in missing deadlines or poor quality work leading to failure of an entire project or incorrect implementation of planned tasks due to lack of proper planning [12]. Testing Testing refers to “the process of finding defects” [13] in an application so that they can be fixed before release. Testing invpves checking whether an application works properly by running a system test after it has been implemented so that defects identified during system test can be fixed before release [14]. System testing invpves creating a system test plan which identifies all possible scenarios that may occur when using an application so that those scenarios can then be tested using those scenarios [15]. Once defects have been fixed during system testing, acceptance testing should then be performed on an application by people who represent actual users so that defects identified during acceptance testing can also be fixed before release [16]. Testing is important because it helps ensure high quality applications by finding defects early enough so that defects can be fixed before releasing applications to users; failure to test properly could potentially result in poor quality applications which may lead users to leave a company’s website due to dissatisfaction with its products/services [17]. Coding Coding refers to “the process of converting designs into computer programs” [18]. It includes writing source code using programming languages such as HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript which can be used by browsers such as Chrome and Firefox when users
