How Qlik Sense & Zoho Inventory Integrations Work

Integration of Qlik Sense and Zoho Inventory

Since Zoho Inventory is an inventory management top, it can be integrated with Qlik Sense to provide the required functionality.

The very first thing that comes to our mind for integration is data. Data in Qlik Sense is stored in three ways. RDBMS, File System, and Indexed SQLite. For the sake of this discussion, we will use the Indexed SQLite in Qlik Sense, which is stored in the form of Extensible Markup Language (XML. We can integrate data from Zoho Inventory using its API. The API of Zoho Inventory has two modes. SOAP and REST. We will use REST in our example. The API makes use of HTTP calls to communicate with Zoho Inventory. In order to get the API, we need to create a developer account in Zoho Inventory. To access the API, we need to get a token from Zoho Inventory.

In order to get a token from Zoho Inventory, we need to do the fplowing:

Get a unique email address registered in Zoho Inventory via a valid mobile number. Create a valid password for this email address. Create a database connection in Zoho Inventory using the API token and API key.

We can extract data from Zoho Inventory using “End Point” or “Custom End Point.” In order to extract data from “End Point,” we need to select the relevant fields from the relevant tables in our database that we have created for this purpose. Similarly, if we want to extract data from “Custom End Point,” then we also need to select relevant fields from relevant tables in our database for this purpose. After selecting relevant fields from the relevant tables in our database for this purpose, we will get a JSON object along with a unique ID. This unique ID will be used later on to extract the data using the API.
