Integration of Paddle and Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Paddle integrates with Microsoft Dynamics CRM through the Paddle for Dynamics CRM connector. The connector can be installed on any Dynamics CRM 2015 or higher environment. By using this connector, users can synchronize data from Dynamics CRM directly into a Paddle instance. They can then view the data in a Paddle user interface that is similar to Dynamics CRM, but without any Dynamics branding. Users can also create records in the Paddle application from data within Dynamics CRM. For example, users can create a new lead or contact by selecting an existing record in Dynamics CRM. In addition, users can import their entire Dynamics CRM database into a Paddle instance as a single CSV file by using the Import from Dynamics option in the Data Management menu. This option enables users to quickly migrate from Dynamics CRM into Paddle without needing to export data from Dynamics CRM first. The connector uses OAuth 2.0 authentication to connect to Dynamics CRM. Both applications require the same permissions to access the same resources. For details about configuring access permissions, see Set up OAuth 2.0 for Paddle for Dynamics CRM Connector . In addition, both applications must have the same user name because they use OAuth 2.0 to connect to each other. In other words, the current OAuth session will be valid only if the two applications have the same user name. Because of this requirement, your Paddle instance should have a user name that matches the user name in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. To change the user name, refer to Change User Name . For more information about configuring security settings for your Paddle instance, see Security .
