Integration of OneNote and Twitter

OneNote is a note-taking application for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. It was first released by Microsoft in October 2003. OneNote allows users to create notes which can be shared, either publicly or privately, via the Internet. It also enables users to save and synchronize their notes on SkyDrive, which can then be accessed from any web browser or other device where OneNote is installed.

Twitter is a social networking website that enables its users to send and read short 140-character text messages called "tweets". Tweets are publicly visible by default, but senders can restrict message delivery to just their fplowers. Users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, Short Message Service (SMS. or external applications. Twitter Inc. is based in San Francisco and has more than 25 offices around the world. In 2012 Twitter was one of the ten most-visited websites and has been described as "the SMS of the Internet".

Integration with Twitter makes it easy to update fplowers about notes you add to OneNote. With OneNote’s integration with Twitter, users can update their fplowers about their notes. This facilitates real-time communication between the author of the note and fplowers, making it easier for them to stay updated about each other’s notes.

Benefits of Integration with Twitter

Via the integration of OneNote and Twitter, users are able to share their notes with others via Twitter. The process of sharing a note with others on Twitter is simple and easy to do. Moreover, it does not require users to host their own site in order to make their notes public; rather, all they need is an account on Twitter.com.

Users can also use this feature to create a cplaborative notebook where several users can post their comments about a particular topic. In doing so, users can share their thoughts with one another and get feedback regarding their ideas.

Apart from sharing individual notes with others via Twitter, users are also able to share entire notebooks with others. The process of sharing notebooks with others is just as easy and convenient as sharing a single note via Twitter. All that is required is for the user to click on “Share Notebook” option from within the OneNote screen. Selecting the “Share Notebook” option displays a dialog box containing several fields that users need to complete before they can share their notebooks with others; these include the title of the notebook, description of the notebook, as well as email address(es. of people that they want to share their notebooks with.
