OneDrive

OneDrive is a file hosting service, which was launched as cloud storage as well as online file synchronization service by Microsoft as part of its Office Online service, which now operates as part of Microsoft's Office 365 service. The details page provides a summary of the item, similar to a properties sheet. The page also includes a checkbox which allows users to choose whether or not to sync the file between devices. In addition, Microsoft has added a feature that automatically backs up photos from a user's camera rpl as well as screenshots from their device to OneDrive.

In October 2014, Microsoft reduced the free storage space from 15GB to 5GB. In June 2015, Microsoft acquired OneNote for $26.2 million. Microsoft has integrated OneDrive into OneNote, allowing users to insert screenshots taken on their Windows Phone devices directly into notes. In March 2017, Microsoft announced that original Office documents would be able to be converted to PDF files through OneDrive.
