OnceHub is a web based video conferencing platform. OnceHub also allows users to share their computer screens and whiteboard during video conferences. OnceHub was founded in 2017 by David Lim.
Zoom is another web based video conferencing platform. It allows users to create their own video conferences via the website, mobile application or desktop application. Zoom was founded in 2011 by Eric Burns.
Both OnceHub and Zoom are currently using different platforms for their video conferencing. OnceHub creates video conferences through an application while Zoom creates video conferences through a website. However, both OnceHub and Zoom are planning to integrate their own video conferencing into each other’s platform. The integration of these two platforms will benefit both companies while creating a stronger competitor against the current leader in the market, BlueJeans.
OnceHub will be able to integrate its software into Zoom’s platform while Zoom will be able to integrate its software into OnceHub’s platform. This will expand their reach while allowing them to take advantage of each other’s customer bases. This integration will allow the companies to make more money since they will have more users that they can charge for their video conferencing services. This integration will also allow them to compete with BlueJeans which uses the same technpogy as the current leaders in the market, Zoom and Google Hangouts. This integration will help to increase competition since BlueJeans is currently the only company that has integrated video conferencing software into their platform.
OnceHub and Zoom are both excited about this new development because they believe it will benefit them greatly. They are looking forward to expanding their customer bases by taking advantage of each others’ customers bases. They will also be able to use each other’s strong points in order to compete with BlueJeans and Google Hangouts. For example, Google Hangouts offers a free version of their service while BlueJeans charges for their service based on number of participants, but neither BlueJeans nor Google Hangouts offer the ability to share your computer screen like OnceHub does. OnceHub and Zoom can use this function in order to bring in more customers since they will be the only companies that offer this service. While Google Hangouts is still offering a free service, OnceHub and Zoom can be used by larger corporations who want to reduce costs and who need advanced services such as sharing computer screens and white boards. OnceHub and Zoom will also be able find new customers because both companies offer additional features that neither Google Hangouts or BlueJeans offers such as screen sharing and white boards. Since most people want advanced features, OnceHub and Zoom can use their advanced features to win over customers. These new customers can then be used to spread awareness of OnceHub and Zoom’s products, thus increasing their customer base even more.
