Integration of Omnisend and SMS By Connect

That’s why we decided to introduce a new top to our customers – SMS by Connect. It allows you to create automated messages, which will be sent to subscribers who have not yet completed the ordered action. This aims at making your customers more motivated to take the actions they were supposed to make.

But how can Omnisend and SMS by Connect be integrated? In this article, we will talk about the benefits of doing so and show you how it can be done.

Omnisend Integration with SMS By Connect

In order for this integration to work properly, you will need a web API key from Omnisend and a secret API key from SMS By Connect. Both API keys are necessary for the integration to work correctly.

Once you’ve got both API keys, go into the SMS by Connect dashboard and click on the “API Keys” tab. Then, click on “Add New API Key” button. A popup window will appear where you need to fill in the information regarding your API key. You will need to enter your API key name, API key type, API key label, API key label description, API Secret Key label, API secret key description, and API secret key value.

After you’ve entered all the information you will see the API key information below the settings panel. A green checkmark will appear next to your API name. This means that everything is OK with your API key and it is working properly.

You can also see the API key information in the “Manage API Keys” section under the “Settings” tab. Clicking on “Show API Key” will bring up the same popup window as before, except now you will see your API key information.

Omnisend Integration with SMS By Connect – Integration Setup

The next step is to integrate this new API key with Omnisend. To do so, go to Settings > Integrations > SMS by Connect. Click “Add an Integration” button at the top of the page. A popup window will appear with 5 fields that need to be filled in. You will need to enter your API Key Name, API Key Label, API Secret Key Label, API Secret Key Value, and API Secret Key Description. When you are done, click on “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the popup window. A “Successfully saved new integration(s. message” message will appear at the top of the screen once the integration has been saved successfully.
