In Figure 1, user (1. logs in to his Odoo CRM account and authorizes the application to access his Google Contacts (2. He then grants permission for the application to access his Google Contacts (3. This grants the application with an access token that contains all the information about the user. After getting an access token, the application asks for authorization again but this time for access to the user’s Google Contacts (4. After getting an authorization for his Google Contacts, the application has all the information about the user’s contacts and can update or save them in Odoo CRM.
