Nutshell is a new application that combines mail, contacts and calendar with Outlook. It is available on the Mac App Store for $9.99. It was developed by a company called Zimbra which has created several other applications and services including Zimbra Desktop, Zimbra Cplaboration Suite and Zimbra Connector. The application was released on June 8th, 2011.Google Contacts is an online storage service for storing and accessing information about people and companies. It is also an official Gmail add-on. Google Contacts can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection. It can also be used to create address book entries in any email client. It was started in 2004 as an experimental project by Google engineers but was released to the public in 2008.Google Contacts can be accessed through the Google website at http://www.google.com/contactsGoogle Contacts can be accessed through various Google products including Gmail, Google+ and Android devices.
Google Contacts and Nutshell can be integrated to give users all three elements of their contact life in one place. The integration is done through the Nutshell account page on the Zimbra website which is located at http://zimbra.comutshell . This page allows users to connect their Google Contacts to Nutshell so that it will become a part of the Nutshell application. Once this has been done, users will have the option to sync their contacts from Google every time they log in to Nutshell or they can manually sync them whenever they choose to do so. This feature is not yet available for Apple's Mac OS X Lion due to the still developing iCloud and MobileMe integration system but it should be released soon since Google is working hard on allowing developers to make apps that work with their Google Contacts service. This new Apple device allows users to connect with other devices easily because of its ability to connect wirelessly with any computer or mobile device that has Bluetooth or Wi-Fi capabilities. This makes it easy for users to keep their contacts up-to-date no matter where they are or what they are doing because just about everything now connects wirelessly or via Bluetooth technpogy. Also, it helps users avoid having a mess of contact information on different devices and even in different places on each device; all the information is kept synchronized automatically so each device has the most recent information regarding your contacts. This integration is great for users who use both Nutshell and Google Contacts because it helps keep everything they need in one place without making them go back and forth between different applications or accounts.
Integration of Nutshell and Google Contacts gives users several benefits including:· Quicker access to information about contacts because they are all in one place· Easier searching because all search terms are in one place (this includes search terms entered into the search box in Nutshell, the search bar of Google Contacts and any saved searches that have been conducted)· Less duplication of information because all information is kept synchronized between applications and devices· Fewer login pages because there is only one login page for Nutshell instead of two separate login pages for each application (this benefit is also true when using Gmail as well)· More space for contact information because it doesn't have to be stored in multiple applications or webpages like before
Integrating Nutshell and Google Contacts gives users several benefits including faster access to information about contacts, easier searching, less duplication of information and fewer login pages which means more space for contact information. Users get all these benefits without having to put up with a mess of contact information spread across multiple platforms and even within each platform such as with email clients like Outlook or Mac Mail.
