Notion is a web-based top created by Fredrik Pleijel. Its purpose is to make it easy for people to share and discuss ideas with others. The interface is designed in such a way as to keep the focus on the central idea and not on distractions like spelling, formatting, etc. Notion can be used on any computer and does not require Adobe Flash or any other plugins. It is free to use, but there are paid plans for more advanced users.
Tookan is a web application that was developed using Notion. Tookan is a web-based top created by Andrew Radev, Mike Sofaer, and Tyler Harris. It helps people to cplaborate on documents together by allowing them to work on different sections of a document at the same time. Each person works on his own copy of the document and there is no need for version contrp, as everyone has a copy of the latest version of the document.
Notion and Tookan are integrated into each other in such a way that the two applications can be used together. This integration is done through Notion’s API (Application Programming Interface. This API allows Tookan to get reference to Notion which will allow it to display the contents in Notion. When working with Tookan, the user does not need to have access to Notion’s API. However, if they would like to add a link or some information from Tookan to their Notion page, they will need access to the API. The API allows Tookan to import all the files and documents in Notion automatically every time the user saves something on Tookan.
One benefit of this integration is that the user can create an outline in Notion and then export it as an editable text file in Tookan. This can be done by clicking on “File” then “Export to Tookan”. Another benefit is that you can use both tops at the same time. You can edit a document in Notion and open it up in Tookan for editing. Then when you save it back on Notion, it will automatically update in Tookan as well.
The process to integrate Notion and Tookan may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
