Notion is a cplaborative workplace in the cloud. It is an all in one top for web development, project management and content cplaboration. It is like Wrike without the development part. Notion combines tasks, notes, files and conversations into one place with seamless transitions.
OneNote is an integrated notebook spution that lets you take notes, format text, insert tables, images and more. It also lets you share your notebooks with others, where it can be accessed on any device with an internet connection.
OneNote is a desktop application which can be used to manage your notes either by drawing with the mouse or using the keyboard. It has great integration with Office 365 and Windows 10. The only issue with OneNote is that it cannot be used on mobile devices. As a result, you will have to use Evernote for this purpose.
Notion offers free access to their service for up to five users on one team. One of the great things about Notion is that it is very intuitive. When you first open it, it asks you to fill in basic details such as your name and email address, the title of your workspace and what sort of workspace you are creating. After completing these fields, you are welcomed by a nice interface where you can see all your workspaces. You can then create new workspaces or join existing ones.
The main display of Notion is the dashboard. This shows all the workspaces you are working on, including the recent activities of everyone on your team. A new feature called “Let’s get started” is shown at the top of the dashboard. You can use this section to create new tasks or new files in your workspace.
Once you open a workspace, it shows all the projects you are working on. These projects are represented by cards which are placed on the left side of the screen. Each card contains information such as its title, due date and status. The card also shows when it was last edited and when the next activity is due to take place.
On the right side of your screen, there is a list of all the tasks within the project card. Each task card represents an individual task within your project and contains essential information such as who created it and what needs to be done by when. At the bottom of each task card is a comment thread where comments and discussions can take place in regards to that particular task in question. You can also add attachments in order to complete a task in Notion. If you would like to add a file to a project you can do so by clicking on the “+File” button at the bottom left hand corner of your screen. This will allow you to upload any file from your computer to your workspace.
The main advantage of integrating Notion with OneNote is that it makes it easier for teams to communicate and cplaborate with each other since they share the same platform and tops. It also ensures that all projects and tasks are managed by one main source instead of numerous different platforms that may not be compatible with each other.
