Moonclerk allows only registered users to create and edit content. To create content, users need to register at moonclerk.com or use the official mobile app by connecting their Facebook accounts to moonclerk.com. The registration process invpves filling out a form that asks for basic personal information such as name, email, location, age, gender and hobbies. Users are then required to upload a profile picture before they can access the creation top of moonclerk.com. This creates a sense of community among the registered users since they can view each others’ profiles. Once registered, users are allowed to create new content on moonclerk.com by accessing the creation top of moonclerk.com via their browsers. After creating new content, users are allowed to share it on social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+ etc. They are also allowed to share the created content with the web community by embedding it into their blogs or websites. Google Docs works similar to moonclerk in that it does not allow unregistered users to create documents, spreadsheets or presentations.
