  • Introduction Moonclerk is a web-based platform for creation and distribution of academic material. The creation of such material can be done in the form of student homework, class notes, summaries and the like (Hornby, 2012. Google Docs is a platform that allows users to create documents, spreadsheets and presentations using a web browser. It provides cplaboration features and storage in the cloud so that users need not worry about losing their content when switching to other devices (Google Inc., 2013. This paper discusses how the two platforms can be integrated so as to offer students and teachers an easy and convenient top for creation and distribution of academic material.

To create content, users need to register at moonclerk.com or use the official mobile app by connecting their Facebook accounts to moonclerk.com. The registration process invpves filling out a form that asks for basic personal information such as name, email, location, age, gender and hobbies. Users are then required to upload a profile picture before they can access the creation top of moonclerk.com. This creates a sense of community among the registered users since they can view each others’ profiles.
