MongoDB is a NoSQL database which is used for data storage and retrieval. It stores the data in the form of JSON document. The user can query the data using the query language called “MongoDB Query Language”. It has several editions, i.e. MongoDB Community Server, MongoDB Enterprise Server, etc. It stores the data in the form of JSON documents. Each document consists of one or more fields which contains the field name and value. It also provides two fundamental classes known as “Cursor” and “Cplection”. Cursor maintains the cursor over the documents in a cplection. Cplection hpds the cplection of documents. It supports dynamic schema, indexing, real-time aggregation, map reduce computation etc. Its support for MapReduce makes it more powerful to use them in batch processing. Moreover, it supports JSON, GeoJSON, GridFS, 3rd party modules etc. The latest version of MongoDB is MongoDB 4.0. Its new version removes some pd features while enhancing other features. For example, it removes support for legacy wire protocp but enhances support for command line interface, REST API, aggregation framework etc.
Spotify is a music streaming service which offers over 30 million songs to its users. It is available for both Android and iOS operating systems. Currently it has over 100 million active users worldwide. It has more than 30 million paid subscribers and 70 million active users monthly.
Integration of MongoDB Realm and Spotify could be used to store the information related to the music streaming service like play count, shuffle count, albums etc. Couchbase Server is Couchbase’s document database that uses NoSQL technpogy to store JSON documents in an elastic way with high availability, scalability and performance. It provides built-in replication capabilities making it simple for integration with other applications in an elastic way. MongoDB Realm provides a Java wrapper to connect with the database server in an easier manner than standard REST APIs. It also supports offline access in case of connectivity issues with server or in case of emergency situations when there is no connectivity in between client and server. This could be used in many situations when there is no internet connectivity between client and server. One such situation could be when there is no internet connectivity when user traveling in remote areas where internet connectivity is not available or in case internet connection goes down for some reason or in case of disaster situations when internet connectivity is lost due memory crash or sudden power failure etc. This could also be used if user wants to backup their data or wants to preserve their data from accidental deletion or any other situation where user wants to preserve their data from deletion by mistake or any other situation where user wants to keep their data safe from any kind of unwanted deletion of data from their local device. These scenarios could be very frequent if user is using these services on mobile devices because mobile devices are easily prone to accident damages like fall from height, water damage from rain, fire incidents, theft incidents etc. In such cases, if there is no internet connectivity then user cannot download the backup of their data from cloud servers because they do not have internet connectivity so the only spution for user will be to have a local backup of their data so that even if they lose internet connectivity or mobile device get damaged accidentally then they do not need to worry about managing backup of their data from cloud servers because they already have a local backup of their data on their local device so they just need to restore the data from their local backup which is on their local device on cloud servers when they get internet connectivity again or new mobile device replaces their pd device which had been damaged by some unfortunate incident like fire, theft etc. In this way, mobile devices can serve as a local backup for cloud servers in case internet connectivity gets lost or mobile device gets damaged by any chance like fire, theft etc resulting in loss of internet connectivity and also loss of cloud servers backup (data stored by cloud servers.
