  • SendGrid is an API-based email API service. It provides API for all platforms like Java, Node.js, Objective-C, Python, PHP and Ruby. The API enables developers to send emails from various platforms like, websites, mobile apps, etc. With the help of API, one can send up to 120000 emails per month without having limits on number of API calls. If the company wants to send more than 120000 emails then they can use enterprise plan.

  • To integrate MongoDB Realm and SendGrid one has to fplow some steps. First of all, he/she has to create SendGrid account. After creating it, go to API tab on top menu bar and click on Credentials option under API tab. Then click on Add API Key button. Now, provide all the information required by SendGrid and click on Generate API key button. After that, copy the API key and create new SendGrid account with API key by visiting https://sendgrid.com/signup/. Now, install Node.js on your operating system if you haven’t installed it yet. Now, create a new fpder on your machine and open command prompt on it. Now, run these commands one by one:
