Miro?
Miro is a free, open-source application designed for those who desire more from their media. Miro can be used to grab video content from a large number of sources including YouTube and Google Video, but it can also be used to watch live TV over the Internet using sources such as Pluto TV. Miro can also be used to listen to podcasts and radio programs. Miro contains an interface that is very similar to iTunes, which makes it quite simple to use for those who are already familiar with iTunes. In addition to all of these capabilities, Miro is able to sync with iTunes. This means that any videos or podcasts that are played with Miro can also be found in iTunes for later use.
MailerLite?
MailerLite is a program that is designed to allow users to easily create and send out email newsletters and other email campaigns. MailerLite allows users to design their newsletters and campaigns using a drag and drop user interface on the MailerLite website. MailerLite also allows users to view reports and statistics on how successful their campaigns were. MailerLite costs $4.99 per month, as well as $0.15 per email sent through the program.
Integration of Miro and MailerLite
Miro and MailerLite are both free programs that are designed for different uses. However, the programs do not currently integrate with each other. One way that they could potentially integrate would be through the use of IFTTT (If This Then That. IFTTT is a website that allows different pieces of software and hardware to talk to each other. Miro would post its RSS feed onto IFTTT, which would then push the RSS feed onto MailerLite’s RSS feed. MailerLite would then use IFTTT to determine if there was new content on the Miro RSS feed and update its own database accordingly. The integration of these two pieces of software would allow users to create newsletters with a greater variety of content than they would have been able to otherwise.
Benefits of Integration of Miro and MailerLite
One benefit of integrating Miro and MailerLite would be that the amount of video content that could be used in a campaign would increase greatly. Integrating these two pieces of software would allow users to easily create newsletters with videos as well as photos, text, and links as content. In addition, integrating these two pieces of software would allow users to play radio shows and podcasts from inside of their newsletters as well as from inside of their campaigns on the MailerLite website.
