  • Integration of Miro and MailChimp Ecommerce
  • In order to integrate Miro and MailChimp Ecommerce it is necessary to create a MailChimp List. If you already have a MailChimp List, this step can be skipped.

    • Create a MailChimp List

  • Click on the “My Account” button in the top right corner of any page.
  • Click on the “Lists” tab
  • Click on the “Create a New List” button.
  • Name the List MailChimp Miro Integration List
  • Select the appropriate list type – it’s okay if you have more than one list of the same type here. This step isn’t necessary but will keep things tidy later.
  • Select an Abbreviation for this list – it’s okay if you have more than one list with abrevations that are different here. This step isn’t necessary but will keep things tidy later.
  • Select the appropriate Subscription Type – it’s okay if you have more than one list with subcriptions that are different here. This step isn’t necessary but will keep things tidy later.
  • Enter the name of your first subscriber – this person will receive all email messages generated by this integration. This step isn’t necessary but will keep things tidy later.
  • Select the appropriate Email Format – it’s okay if you have more than one list with abrevations that are different here. This step isn’t necessary but will keep things tidy later.
    • Install the MailChimp plugin for Miro

  • Open up Miro, click on the “Miro Web Application” menu item in the left cpumn under “Media” and then click on “Plugins” in the left cpumn under “Extensions” b. Scrpl down until you see the “MailChimp” item, click on its link and then click on “More information about this plugin…” c. Click on the “Download Now…” button d. Hit return to install the plugin e. Restart Miro f. Navigate back to the “Plugins” screen g. Check out your new plugin! You should now be able to enable/disable this plugin by clicking on its icon in the left cpumn under “Extensions” h. To use the plugin, simply go to the “Settings” menu item under “Preferences” and select “MailChimp (http://www.mailchimp.com), click on “Edit Preferences…” i. Enter your MailChimp API key into the appropriate field j. Select what kind of content you want posted to MailChimp (browsing history, search history or both. k. Save your changes l. Exit out of Miro m. Return to your MailChimp account n. Install a plugin for Firefox or another browser o. Log into that browser p. Go to http://www.mailchimp.com q. Browse through all of your lists r. Open up a browser tab for each list s. Click on the “Signup for Free” button t. Fill out all information u. Hit “Start Uploading” v. Fill out all information w. Hit “Start Uploading” x. Repeat steps S-W until you have added all subscribers y. Wait for all subscribers to have been added z. Hit “OK” aa. Go back to Miro bb.
