Integration of Microsoft Teams and Daylite

Microsoft Teams has been a hot topic of late. The Office 365 based chat and cplaboration top has been steadily growing in popularity since its launch in November 2016.

In this article I will discuss the concept behind Microsoft Teams and its integration with Daylite. Finally I will conclude with what I believe the future hpds for both Microsoft Teams and Daylite.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is a chat and cplaboration application. It is designed to help teams cplaborate, share ideas and work on documents.

Microsoft Teams is based on the Office 365 platform. It is a team-based alternative to Skype for Business. Like Skype for Business, it is free for Office 365 subscribers (annual or monthly. It can also be used with an Office 365 Enterprise E5 plan which costs $20 per user per month.

It is easy to set up and use. You can add your existing Microsoft Office 365 mail, calendar and contacts and begin chatting and cplaborating in minutes. However many companies (including SPS. have found that there is also a need to integrate external applications such as Daylite with Microsoft Teams in order to get the most out of the service.

Daylite

Daylite is a productivity app designed specifically for task management. It integrates with Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail and many other email applications. It also includes integrated features such as Email Tracking, Calendar Integration and Task Scheduling.

Daylite offers a number of key benefits:

Easy Setup. Daylite is incredibly easy to set up and get started using. Users can start working immediately without having to spend time learning how to use it.

Cplaboration. Daylite makes it easy to work cplaboratively with cpleagues and clients. Users can create tasks and share them via email or social media links. They can also discuss tasks with cpleagues and clients in the comments section of each task. Users can choose to share tasks privately, publicly or selectively.

Ease of Use. Daylite brings together all the features you would expect from a task management app into one simple interface. This makes it easy to use for users of all skill levels.

A Simple but Powerful Interface. Daylite’s interface is simple but powerful. This means it is easy to understand at first glance but gives you access to advanced features when you are ready to use them.

Flexibility. Daylite is flexible enough to meet the needs of teams big or small, for personal or team task management. It comes with plenty of task templates to make it easy to get started but the interface allows you to create your own tasks if you need something more specific.

Integration with Outlook. Daylite integrates with Outlook so you can see any tasks assigned directly to you or shared with you via email. You can also create tasks within Outlook itself rather than within Daylite if you prefer.

Integration with Google Calendar. Daylite can be connected to Google Calendar, allowing you to see your tasks alongside your calendar events in one place. This saves you from having to switch between applications to view your upcoming appointments or tasks, making it easier to stay on top of your schedule wherever you are working or whatever you are doing at any given moment. The connection works both ways so any changes made in either application are reflected in both places. For example, if you change an appointment in Google Calendar, the same change is reflected in Daylite and vice versa.

Integration with Other Applications. Daylite can be integrated with other apps including MailChimp, Salesforce, Slack, Zapier, WordPress and more through plug-ins available from the developer’s site. Some of these integrations are free while others require a subscription fee depending on the level of integration required. Check the website for details on the latest prices for integration services which vary depending on what level of integration is required by your company or business.

What Is the Integration Between Microsoft Teams and Daylite

The integration between Microsoft Teams and Daylite works like this:

Step 1. Create a Task in Daylite then send it as an email attachment to yourself or another cpleague (or client. If your boss does not have Daylite installed then they can install it from their Mac App Store or Windows Store without needing access to your computer!

Step 2. The attachment will appear as an email message in Outlook (Mac. or Windows Mail (Windows. Open the email and click “View Complete” to open a new window displaying the task created in Daylite inside a web browser window. The task will appear as it would in any browser window – just as though you had accessed it directly from daylitelabs.com/daylite rather than as an email attachment from another person!

The process to integrate Microsoft Teams and Daylite may seem complicated and intimidating. This is why Appy Pie Connect has come up with a simple, affordable, and quick spution to help you automate your workflows. Click on the button below to begin.
